Well, I just can't express my thanks to everyone for all the wishes that have been posted here.

And I apologize for not getting back to some
of you (you know who you are) because on top of everything else, the numbness on the right side
of my head (surgery side) has decided to start to wear off. Needless to say that this has been
fairly painful and made the thought of talking/writing to anyone abit rough.
The Dr prescribed me a pain patch
(good for 3 days at a time), which I just started using on friday. That seems to be working fine.

I went thru the 1st chemo treatment on thursday and aside from some mild tingling in the fingers
& toes, things are OK so far. Now all I have to do is survive the next seven weeks.

And that picture that Reved posted from Chiller??
Knock about 60 lbs off me and that would give you
an idea of what I look like these days. Yes, my
hair is that short again in anticipation of losing
it all due to the chemo. [smarty]

I have been away for a few days due to this vicious flu bug that is going around - I am finally starting to fight it off. Stupid flu!

That chemo is some GOOD stuff, Scoots. A friend of mine has been going through chemo for a couple of months and her cancerous brain tumor has shrunk 25% so far! The chemo is still working and she is on a pill form of it now. Unfortunately, they could only remove 1/3 of her tumor with surgery, but with the chemo, she is doing great so far, so good! I know you will have a good outcome as well. You have way too many people who adore you to let that stinky cancer get you down.

It is SOOOOOOO good to hear from you!!! Don't feel you need to get back to us when it is hard for you, you just need to stay strong and healthy and kick that cancer's behind. Please know that we are all here thinking of you - you adorable man!!! I wish I could be there with you and give you a big hug and kiss! Okay, millions of hugs and kisses! X [Kiss] X
