Starring comedian Bill Engvall and an eclectic makeover crew, Mobile Home Disaster is a home renovation show like no other. The show begins with a deserving family living in the mobile home from h`e`l`l.
With Bill's down-home, comedic charm and the unusually attractive crew's expertise, the home is completely reconstructed, making the family the envy of their trailer park. Mobile Home Disaster is a funny and poignant look at good things happening to good people.

Why should you watch this CMT show, you ask??? [hmmm]
Because Cherie (Chainsaw Chick) Currie will be appearing in episode #1 carving some of her wonderful critters to adorn the deserving family's mobile home, THAT's why!!!

Is this CCOOL or what?!?!
I believe the episode airs for the first time Friday May 2nd at 11:00 PM and will re-air several times.

I've seen a couple of the shows from last season, funny stuff. Looking forward to seeing Cherie, I hope they show more of her than Moster Garage did.

I think some of the info I posted before was bogus. Maybe because this show was first tried a couple years ago.
Apparently the first episode (with Cherie) will not air on May 2nd as I had previously stated.

The Futon Critic just update their information. Here is what it says there now.

CMT PUTS THE HOME MAKEOVER GENRE ON WHEELS WITH NEW SERIES "MOBILE HOME DISASTER" PREMIERING FRIDAY, MAY 16
John Caparulo hosts the series, which originally aired as a backdoor pilot special (hosted by Bill Engvall) on The WB in 2005.

Cherie says that they told her it would be repeated several times. I'll zero in on that as the time approaches!

It just saw part of a commercial for Mobile Home Disasters on CMT.
It verified the May 16th Premier date and said it would be on at 9:00 (8:00 central time)
so that would be 6:00 pacific time, I reckon!

I think Cherie might have been in the commercial but can't say for sure.
I don't usually pay attention to commercials but when I heard the word chainsaws and actually
heard a chainsaw, I looked up but I was too late.

I just happen to be watching CRIBS which happened to be featuring Rock Stars, on CMT.
That's why I was tuned in.

Anyone else see this commercial?

You are so lucky to have caught the commercial Rog!
Here is the online TV Guide listing for Tucson.
We do not observe Daylight Savings Time here, so we are the same as Pacific Time!
Apparently the show originates from the west coast too?!?!

Looking forward to this. The first airing is supposed to be at 9:00 Pacific Time but it's also listed as 9:00 Eastern Time!

I agree Janet! It was a cool show but they edited Cherie's part down too much and did not credit her properly.

I understand they are updating their web site to include more Cherie, along with some other needed improvements.

Cherie's Bigelow Bears were awesome and I'm hoping they'll add some photos, of her carving that masterpiece, to their Mobile Home Disaster Photo Gallery.

I posted on their Mobile Home Disaster Message Board a while ago but it seems to be down at the moment.

BTW folks, there are still several opportunities to see the show so check the Mobile Home Disaster TV Schedule, if you haven't seen it yet!

They now have some videos up, which purport to have bonus footage but my computer is too slow to check them.
If someone, with high-speed could watch them and let us know if there is footage of Cherie carving those Bigelow Bears, I for one wood appreciate it greatly!

It looks like the Bigelow episode will air 4 more times, this month. So if you haven't seen it yet, you still have a chance to catch it.

I also noticed that the message boards are fixed, so you can click to get there, from the main page!

That YouTube video, captures Cherie's Bigelow Bears segments, for the most part, though!

I'll be keeping this topic "sticky topped" until CMT is no longer showing this episode!
