You may have noticed that the IMAGE function has been turned off. This is temporary, I hope.I received an email from the source of some images posted here, complaining about their bandwidth being stolen. Many boards do not allow their members to post images, unless they are owned by the person posting them and are hosted on the person's own photo hosting site.
That seems extreme to me! I like posting images that I find on line, as much as the next guy. Sometimes an image (or an emoticon for that matter) seems very appropriate and harmless and we have never gotten this sort of complaint before, so I think that if we just try to be reasonable about image posting, we should be alright. Southwest Ranger....not to single you out but you do not need to post a photo of every person, place or thing that you talk about here.
Words CAN suffice a lot of the time and I don't want to have to be checking where a plethora of images are coming from. Specifically, NO images will be allowed from this source.
