The NBA will be unwatchable again this year

Q: What happens in an NBA game?

A: Every 24 seconds, 10 niggers jump up in the air

If there were no NBA, there would be a lot of 7 foot garbagemen...

The Cavs have a strange team, too old at some positions (Snow and Wesley), too young at others (Gibson and Brown), often injured (Hughes), too ingnored at others, Z, and the missing link from last year, Flip Murray, who made the difference the second half, not asked back, and now that Hughes is injured, he is needed again but no longer around.

Rack Alex for dropping by with his thoughts on the Cavs. I'm still bitter the Cavs beat the Wizards in the palyoffs last year but they were the better team and earned it.

Rack the Wizards for getting their first road win tonight.

That's pretty forgiving of you because I seem to recall a Lebron travel at the end of one of the games. However, in the next game, when everyone was looking for it, I do recall Le Bron seemed to suspend in air for a very long time, and it was legit.

Gilbert Arenas almost willed the Wizards towards winning the series.

I still can recall Flip being nudged out of the way by Tayshaun Prince on a critical rebound chance in game six with about a minute left.
All Prince did was very gently put his hand on Flip's back and just sort of curse him out of the way, it was almost mystical.

This board is blowing up again with Alex in as a full-time poster. Rack him

I just abruptly retired from .net after bottling up my frustration at how it's dying and then melting.

Right as I signed on here I felt an immediate sense of restoration and peace. Then I saw this thread, Alex and Bill talking NBA hoops, and it's like a load has been lifted from my back. Fuck .net and rack hostboard. I'm here for the long hail

Rack NBA talk here at Hostboard. Tonight I am watching the Wizards and 76'ers. It looks like Allen Iverson has played his last game for the 76'ers and Gilbert Arenas has made long three's at the buzzer at the end of the first and second quarter. Wizards cut a 20 point 76'er lead to four at the break.

I'll post the final score here later.

The Wizards beat the 76'ers but lost the next night to the Rockets. One step up and two steps back.

Check in here for the latest on the AI situation. He hasn't been traded yet.

The West currently has 6 teams with 700 plus winning percentages. In the interest of fair play it is rumored that a three team trade will happen in which the 76'urrrrs will receive players from a Western Conference team but AI will go to Atlanta, Atlanta will trade two Thank ya's and a "Western Conference Rocks" before each game against the West for the rest of the season.

Rack that reference

Rockets fan here since the 80s, meeting Akeem at an A&N in Richmond and scoring a free autographed pic. Taken in any live Wizard games this year Bill?

Yeah, I went to the home opener vs the Celtics and plan to hit a few more down the road. I got a lot of Maryland basketball games coming up too. Nothing to do in the winter but watch hoops.

Must be nice to throw money around at basketball games and sit in the warm stands and eat delicious nachos.

Imported beer is too costly at Wizards games so I have to go with domestic beer.

I'll text your Balckberry the next time I have an extra ticket, that cool w/you?

Spurts knocked out the Jizz in five while the Cavs are up 3 games to 2 over Detriot. LeBron James was kick ass last night. Game 6 is sometime this weekend. As usual, make this the first palce to check results of NBA palyoff action.

In other hoop news, Billy Donovan got a ton of cash to coach the Orlando Magic and the WNBA's Mystics canned their coach. Not sure who was the coach or who took over but I'm working on it.
