As ive told a few of ya's I'm thinkin of gettin an indoor soccer team together.. I'm still yet to go down and fully suss it out, but the bloke i originally spoke to about it came into work tonight and i cleared a few things up.

Minimum of 5 a side, mixed or mens. The season doesn't start for a few months so we'll have a while to get out shit together if people are keen. i'll get in on the finer details like costs and things like that if/when people get involved.

i reckon it'd be heaps of fun and a good way to keep the fitness regime goin.. so let us know boys and girls!

ps. shotgun being the annoying hog who always shoots from half way and screams out "RONALDINHO!" or "LET IT RAIN!"

haha if you play i'll play teags, as long as we get to wear short shorts and knee high socks because that's very important

...but really i think we know it'll end up just being a thing for the boys..pretty sure jords wants to play

Hahaha I'd love to play as well!!!! Granted, however..

1. It's not taken serious, we all know I'm a Neil and I'm shit at sport.
2. If someone ends up acting like Ilan used to when I saw them play netball I'm quitting the team!
3. There's absolutely positively NO form of 'training' midweek or between games.

Apart from that, LET IT RAIN!

yeah im very keen

but if it is happening id like to head down to the oval or somthing and just kick around a bit so we can get used to it, wouldnt mind blockin some shots at goal before gettin thrown in the deep end

Ha, yeah I'd be in on this as well, but as long as it's not taken seriously. Also, when and where it takes place is pretty important. And only if our uniform consists of a pair of stubbies and nothing else.

I guess it'd be Monday nights Nicko? Or, no, it'd probably be a day thing?

well if its a day thing i guess nicko would be a one man team,

it'd have to be a monday night for nicko to do it i would of thought,

and it is down at the mountain rd indoor thing there nicko said which is pretty fucken sweet,

yeha well they play monday and tuesday nights, apperently tuesdays is the shit kickers (us) and mondays the competitives (not us) night.. i could easily make tuesday my day off.

as for the uniforms, you just make your own.. as long as we all look kinda the same its sweet.

tBS United sounds good to me as well. I reckon it'd be cool to make up shirts for us all.

When I said 'during the day' I meant weekends. Do you know what time the games are Nick? Jarryd and I can't really get to Cocky until at LEAST 6:30 at our quietest times, and closer to 9 when we pick up a bit.

I think i was told the last games are from like 6 to 9.. so i dont know maybe we could try and get the 9 o'clock game each week.

yeah it was 5 to 8 a side, 5 on the ground and 3 subs. also it costs each team $50 a week to play so yeah something like $8 each seems pretty good to me.

I like the idea of making up our own shirts.. some sorta cool logo.. bean youre the creative one.

Haha, yeah I'll get right on a uniform. Hayley says she thinks that if we have a mixed team, we need to have at least one girl on the field at any given time. But I don't think I'd be able to last a whole game so I would have ZERO problems with a bit of interchange action going on.

Although apparently Jane isn't 100% but this sounds sweet, I'm pumped.

Jarryd and I will work on some uniform shit. Rebel Sport have a sale on so we'll check them out for some cool mesh shirts in preferably red or blue (though it depends on what they have). If everyone can just supply their own black shorts or skirt or whatever, and we'll have shirt-colour-matched socks and whatever old pair of runners.

As for the shirt design, maybe a small "tBS united" logo on the breast and our names and a number across the back. So I could have:

And so forth.

Everyone as excited as I am???

Also I thought it could be funny if we had tBS united on our uniform and everything, but on the official team entry form we deliberately spell it tBS untied. Or am I just getting too silly now?
