What was the occasion?

Here are some pictures of my own. First up, I bought a pack of milk bottles last week, and some of them were stuck together in a very cool fashion:

Earlier in the year, I bought a few body parts from a store up the road from work. They were great fun to mess around with, and we chucked one of the fingers I got into the fan. It swang around once and then flung like all buggery into the window, and got stuck on a very high window cill. There it remained until last week when I was up the lady for another reason, and figured I'd fetch it down. I picked it up and saw a huge black thing on it so I immediately let it go, only it was stuck to myfinger (they are sticky body parts) and it flicked back don to ground level. On closer inspection it wasn't somethingto be afraid of but in the heat of the moment and in my state of semi-inbalance I didn't have time to think about that.

Finally, a fucking big mushroom.

we were at a holiday house type place that is rented out short-term (weeks, weekends) half an hour out of town. it was really secluded, hence all the trees and stuff outside. i didn't even get mobile reception. lousy telstra. apparently i need to be with their fancy new network

and the finger is cool!
that's a sad way to go though=(

I got this photo sent to me today and I liked it so much i felt obligated to share with you all.

Things I especially like about the picture:
1. The dude in the black t-shirt directly above the victim, HE'S GRINNING!! Also he's mr cool

2. Obviously the victims face.

3. The lady behind the victim too busy licking the pizza box to even notice thers a bat flying almost straight at her.

4. The kid on the left, he looks horrified.

The little girl in the middle (I think the one george was referring to).. wouldn't any normal parent guard their child with their own life? yet in this instance a flying metallic bat and the kid is left so vulnerable!

This is in a park in Prahran. Jarryd and I walk past it every morning on the way to Safeway.

Only recently did I stop to inpect it closer.

What the??? "La Mer" is French for "The Sea"...????? What kind of fucking magical power does this flagpole-like object possess?? And who has the key??? They are obviously a very powerful and influential person, to be in control of the sea. But of course the question would remain, where does the sea come from? Does turning the lock simply dump the sea from the sky? Does it flow from the building behind this pole? Does it erupt from the pole itself??? I may never know.

I just found this pic looking for a photo of Angie. It was from the Melbourne Show in 2005.. in the dog part, this guy had decided his day was too long and hard so he would take a short kip. Ahhh.

Alright so I am going to post the answer in black because to be honest its a bit of a let down from the sugestions Bean made so you may not want to know...

LaMER is a quality Australian producer of flagpoles and goalposts. So its simply a manufacturers name - Pfft Boring!!
