I pretty much agree with Adam, I dont think they are gay and your take on the escalator scene is pretty much what i thought.

The scene in the sleeping bags in my opinion was them finally admitting they DO care about each other after constantly saying shit about not caring and not missing each other when they go to uni. Obviously they exagerated this moment to make us laugh, and if i remember correctly it worked!

There was gay themes in the movie and i think they were deliberate, but for comic value.

On a lighter note i read somewhere an argument in favor of Seth being gay is that he wanted Jules..and that means he is gay because Jules can be a guys name. HAHA disregard the fact that Jules was hot.

I don't think she looked like Caity at all. In fact they look completely different, what movie were you watching Jordan or maybe you were looking at Caity everytime Jules was on so you are not confused

Haha that's fucking stupid that someone was saying Jules could be a guys name therefore he's gay. I'm happy to let this thing slide but I really do think there could be more to it than just some laughs.

Trav, that photo looks Photoshopped.

And yes I can see a slight resemblance to Caity. Not in that picture, but in some. If you go here, enter some fake details, go to Are You Superbad? then click on the girls, I reckon she looks like Caity a bit there, making that face.

Ha, and while you're at that site, click on the lunchbox in the corner, and it has all the penis drawings... hahahhaa.

Well its been a long summer and this thread hasn't been used at all.. I'm shocked considering i have seen 5 movies at the cinema this summer not to mention the countless screeners that have found themself to me... So I thought I might get the ball rolling, feel free to add your reviews and ratings below to any films you have seen this summer:

CLOVERFIELD: Since this film only came out today and I had the day off I took my good friend Jeremy along to see this unique movie by Lost creator J.J. Abrams. Shot completely af if by hand held camera the film follows the activities of a group of young partiers over 7 hours as New York City is attacked by a Godzilla type monster. A short film at only 80 minutes but since it is meant to be filmed on a hand held and the same battery and tape is used throughout it is realalistic. I wont give any more than that away as alot has been done to keep the plot and the monster a secret. But I highly recommend this film as a must see, if you are into action and suspence and a little bit of a scare or just like cinematography at its best then this is the summer film for you. 4.5 / 5.0 BEANS

I Am Legend: 4.5 / 5.0 BEANS
Bee Movie: 5.0 / 5.0 BEANS
The Golden Compass: 4.0 / 5.0 BEANS
27 Dresses: 2.0 / 5.0 BEANS
The Water Horse: 3.0 / 5.0 BEANS
Sydney White: 2.5 / 5.0 BEANS
Shoot'em Up: 4.0 / 5.0 BEANS
Gone Baby Gone: 4.0 / 5.0 BEANS
The Bucketlist: 2.5 / 5.0 BEANS
Good Luck Chuck: 3.0 / 5.0 BEANS
The Nanny Diaries: 2.5 / 5.0 BEANS

Where is your 5 bean rating for Bee Movie?

I saw the trailer for Cloverfield yesterday, it looks okay but just looks like an episode of Lost set in New York, and Lost pisses me off so I doubt I'll enjoy Cloverfield. From the trailer I saw... who the fuck has a handheld camera that records in that good quality??? That really annoyed me in the 120 seconds of the trailer, I can imagine it really grating after 80 minutes.

I Am Legend was great, 4 beans.
Bee Movie, 3.5 beans.
The 40 Year Old Virgin, 1.5 beans.
One Hour Photo, 3.5 beans.

I can't believe you gave 'The 40 Year Old Virgin' 1.5 Beans, do you have3 any cred at all? Its a great comedy and a great heart fealt story about a man who has lost his way in the sexual world and a group of friends that try get him laid.. In the end it is only himself who can find the path again thru the love of a good woman!

As for your post about 'Cloverfield' I thought you out of everyone would be appreciate a unique film like this.. As for the camera quality of the film, anything is an improvement on the peice of crap you film with... but seriously, go see it then have an opinion!

*Please note I have edited my previous post to include 'Bee Movie', It have ben such a long and wonderful summer that I forgot I had seen such a fantastic Movie, if you havent seen it go and see it.. 5.0 Beans!

No way, 'License to Wed' isnt worth 3.0, its worth 2.0 at the most.. It was a shit house plot and wasn't even funny, worst Robin Williams movie ever apart from 'Runaway Vacction'. If Brendan gave 'The 40 Year Old Virgin' 1.5 he would have given 'License to Wed' -7.0!

As if the review "Its like Godzilla meets Blair Witch" doesnt give it away... Plus on the Trailer you see part of the monster and the statue of liberties head rolling down the street.. What else could it be, the increadable Hulk? That doesnt come out till June!

And you know as well as I do that Hayley sleeps thru most movies anyway so she gave it 2.0 Beans for only half the film, if she had of been awake for the other half it would have been 4.0
