we went to nando's on sundayit SUCKED like everything in the letter is true the service sucked the food was WRONG the food was yucky the food was barely warm the staff were unhelpful when we told them i whinged and got the money for my burger back but my silly boyfriend was hungry and ate his even though he said it was gross so i wrote to them: On Sunday afternoon (29/06/08) I had my worst ever experience dining in a franchise restaurant. My partner and I visited the Innaloo (WA) store, and were more than disappointed with both the food and service.
We're both vegetarian, so we were keen to try the veggie burgers. We ordered one each, with hot sauce, and some peri peri chips. The chips were served without seasoning, so were pretty much just... chips. Hardly that which Nando's is supposedly famed for. When my boyfriend went to let them know, the girl behind the counter just shrugged and nonchalantly handed him a container of peri peri sprinkle, telling him to do it himself. The burgers were beyond bad. The patties were soggy, limp, and luke-warm at best (if not outright cold) to the point that I found them inedible. If there was indeed any of this "hot sauce" on the burgers, believe me, it could be neither seen nor tasted (I had a single bite of mine, which was enough, however my boyfriend attempted his more, and said it was pretty awful). If the food had been served hot and fresh, I'm sure they would have tasted much better, however our meals resembled a bad microwave dinner, which is sad, considering our expectations associated with the Nando's brand. I sincerely hope this was just bad luck, and not all locations are of this quality. i'm hoping for generic nando's vouchers so i can go to a different location that actually cooks its food.

SUCCESS!!!Dear Eloise, I am very sorry to hear of your disappointing experience at Nando’s Innaloo. Please be assured that I will be passing this feedback on to the franchisee of this restaurant as well as the Regional Manager to ensure it is followed up immediately. It is very concerning to hear you received such poor product quality at this restaurant. I would like to send you a couple of complimentary meal vouchers to compensate for this experience, and I will put these in the mail today to the address below. I have just left a message on your voicemail and please don’t hesitate to call me on XXXXXXX if you would like to discuss this any further. Kind Regards, Georgie Shumack Nando’s Australia i spoke to her on the phone and she was quite apologetic and i think the store is going to get in trouble for sucking so much. yay vouchers! i asked if the vouchers could be used at another store so i can go somewhere better and she said yes

Trav, I disagree only because i filled out an online complaint form when i complained to dairy farmers, they emailed me back asking for my address so they could send me an official reply.I guess it comes down to how much the company cares about customer complaints, but i also think you have to complain about a defective product. Like you couldnt just email cadbury and say you dont like all the purple in their packaging. -------------------- I need to know who put my calculator in jello or I'm gonna lose my friggin mind!!

This thread has inspired me to actually voice my concerns about the products that I buy that are not to my satisfaction. I had a dodgey yoghurt (seemed to be curdled) and some microwave popcorn that didn't pop properly. I got a $10 voucher from Uncle Tobys and a $12 cheque from Nestle in the past week. The complaints were made using an online form but each time, they called me up to discuss and then offered a voucher. -------------------- http://www.revfad.com/flip.html
