i thought his "hell yeah" was directed at how good the trailer looks, as in "hell yeah that looks good!"

why would nick be so enthusiastic about the fact that there was a glass sound effect?

surely nick's life isn't that drab that a minor detail like that would send him into a frenzy of old wrestling quotes!?

nick, were u answering my question or merely showing your excitement for the upcoming dvd?

Haha. Maybe you should be raising the People's Eyebrow in confusion Caity.

Filming is 98% completed and the DVD should be ready for public consumption by the end of the month. At which point we will just have to wait for a suitable viewing time and then we can all enjoy!!

So with the DVD nearing more and more to completion, I thought it woudl be time to bring this topic up.

Although we don't have a date set for the viewing, the Saturday night before Cup Day is looking like a potential go-ahead. Nothing anywhere near concrete yet though. In fact, the cement mix hasn't even been poured. No, hasn't even been BOUGHT! The company's been called for a quote, and been told we'll get back to them. But yeah.. Saturday November 1st is a maybe.

Anyway, the main reason I wanted to dredge up this topic was to ask for input on having another Comedy Gala before the viewing. Maybe if people could just copy and paste the following and delete the responses in accordance with their opinions:

Did you think the 2007 Comedy Gala was a worthwhile exercise?
- Yes, I loved it, absolutely hilarious.
- Whilst I did enjoy it, it didn't really make my night. I guess it was okay.
- No, it was a waste of everybody's time.

Would you be interested in having another Comedy Gala at this year's DVD screening, as a pre-viewing laugh-a-minute hoot-fest?
- Definitely. I'm quite looking forward to it in fact.
- Oh, if other people want to do it, then yeah, but if they didn't, then no.
- I'd rather peel my toenails back with a glass thermometer.

If there were to be a 2008 Comedy Gala held prior to the DVD screening, would you be interested in participating?
- I'd love to. Bring it on!!
- No chance.

That's all. So please give me your input on that one. Personally, I would like to hold it again this year, and I would again enter the competition.

And might I also just add, the first few posts on this page crack me the fuck up. LOL at Jordan and his no-sound computer creating mass confusion for an entire page.
