I haven't been able to climb into the engine compartment to find the block casting number but I do know I have a 327 in there. I was told recently that all 327's in trucks of that era had 4 bolt mains..Is that true?

Thanks for any info

Gerald

no 327 had 4 bolt except some HD ones in combines and huge trucks with steel crank

light duty 1 ton and under were all 2 bolt main 327's

run the casting and stamping codes
