well... it seems almost to obvious for me to say... but of course I would be interested in a set of decals (not so much in the bumper stickers). In fact I would probably take 2 sets, so I could have a back-up for whenever I want to repaint.

I tell you what... I could very easily make a simple one page web page that had the stickers for sale and a Paypal payment button that would go to the board's account.... then there would just need to be a Member link or something from this site.... or if possible just add the page here.... just some thoughts....

Short term, I would recommend getting the set from Bowtie...

Basically- the press is still in the city- I can get to it, but just doing that means an extra hour on each step of the job...soon (as in Old Guy soon) I am going to bring it here and set it up. But then it will need leveled and adjustments all gone over, they get knocked out when you move them.

What I am talking about would have to be planned in the long term...

They could be auctioned on FeePay and the payment sent to Todd, that's not hard, when you list the auction you just put in the addy.

I could print them on a "work it in when I have time" basis. But I don't want to get involved in marketing them for a long time.

Kinda like Rita Rudner's comment when she heard a friend ahd been in labor 36 hours...

" I'm not sure I wanna do something that feels good for 36 hours."

Yeah, I was planning on getting those as well.. I kind of figured it would be awhile. I sent him a message the other day.... hadn't heard back yet... I would still be interested in a high grade set for the long term.

Would be a good excuse to repaint them...

My press isn't as new as the one in the video- but 97% of the parts fit.

They squared off the rounded corners on the covers, and added more electronics...

Anywhoo- the press is still in the city- some 32 miles away. To go in and do the run would take up a day...

Plans are to move it out here to a finished in barn...then it would be just a matter of fitting it in around other things...

The water decals appear to be out for the moment- the press will feed the paper OK, but there is enough residual moisture to cause issues with the decal paper.

Possible to deal with but just don't have the time.

If I recall, the original Altec stickers were on material supplied by Mac Adhesives- they are only about 80 miles away. if possible I'd like to match the original material...

Yes, I would like 4 stickers myself. Maybe even 6. I have two 210 cabinets that only one has the original stickers in so-so shape and the 825 cabinets that came without.

Wow!

I'd like to do the print job, would be willing to do the initial mail out of orders...but after that would like to turn it over to someone else..

Obviously if they don't get printed till July or so it would be down the line..

I'm just too old and forgetful to remember a lot of mailbox trips...

I'll throw this out there.... it's up to you, but I mail out packages every week at the post office for my business and if someone else wants to handle the money part and just send me payment for the shipping and packaging (no charge for handling) I'd be willing to do it. Maybe I could get a couple of sets for free. Or if that is going to make someone upset, I'd probably do it for nothing for awhile anyway. Not forever mind you, but I'd be willing to take a stack and handle it for awhile. I remember trying to find these decals a couple of years ago, and I couldn't find them anywhere and gave up, so I know the frustration factor... it would be easy for me to do...

Otherwise.... as I am sure you haven't heard enough from me.

I would take a couple of sets of 4.

THANKS!
