Dr. Laura just skewered a grandson for charging his grammy to redo her bathroom so she could have easier access to the bathtub for taking showers and such. According to Dr. Laura, it seems the grandson was supposed to do all the work for free including paying for all the parts and all the labor.I think Dr. Laura handled the situation superficially.
It matters if Grandma and GrandPa (now deceased) were rich or if they were miserly with their money, to just blanketly state the grandson should do the equivalent of a couple of weeks of work and pay for all the parts needed without investigating the nooks and crannies of the situation was irresponsible of Dr. Laura.
