If the Mets sign Arod, Would you trade Jose Reyes for CC?Do you throw in Jhonny? Should we get someone else in return? They'd probably let Milledge go but he reminds me of a Brandon Phillips type, a little bit too much show boat floating on the ocean of me.
If we did the deal, would Grady get a bump in salary? Grady may have one year seniority yet his contract total is for something like half of Reyes.
Reyes and Cabrera could make for an amazing middle infield. Reyes, Cabrera, and Grady could make for an interesting 1-2-3 punch in the line-up. Gotta love the infusion of speed that would bring to the Indians.
CC is only going to be around one more year, Reyes is signed for something like 4 or 5 more years. I say if CC won't extend his contract for one more year with the tribe, then do the deal.
