For those of you that haven't seen the new test site, it's here:

I plan on switching over within the week hopefully. Also my hosting service is doing a full on move so there may be some down time in the future. Keep your pants on, wer'e not going anywhere.
As you can see the new site includes a link to the new forum. When we switch over I plan on closing ALL Hoastboard topics in an attempt to get everyone over there for good. The new site will be adjusted as needed. The Dave page is gone and now it's just MEDIA.
Some will like it, others not but that's unavoidable. It's time for a change and this is it for now. I'm still trying to get Derek to do his masterpiece YAMAHA vs GRETSCH article too. I envision sound (video?) clips, the whole works! Everyone tell Derek to make it happen!
OK so what does everyone think?

Steve, I really like the new website. It looks great!

Only one suggestion:
On your bio page, under the lessons section, you should include the Weckl 9 video you made.

Looks great Steve. Simple, professional layout. While I never experienced any problems with this forum, I feel for those that get bothered by these infamous "sponsored links". The only way to get everyone there is shutting this place down (as sad as it sounds). I already have my new account, so I hope to see everyone there.

Nice one steve. I think it should be called HOB.(house of blushda).

I love the media section showing screenshots of videos. There's 2 or 3 vinnie clips I don't think I've seen.
Was it sorted to carry the archive of threads over or that's not happening?

Finally, I'm gonna register. Anyone reckon I should keep Rudy_Ment, or make it rudy, or Rudy?This is a serious and life changing question everyone!

It seems that the new HOD site has a home page, a forum page and a message board page. But, I don't see a link from the forum page back to the home page. Am I missing something?

Can the new site drop a login cookie? I currently have to login manually every visit, and I'm not rejecting cookies.

Btw, the new media page is great, much better with the screenshots of the videos like that!

Me too. When I try to edit a post it rejects the edit and makes me log in again. Great look to the site btw.

I tried to post an avitar -- the same one I use here and it says it is too big. Clearly there are avitars over there working, so I must be doing something wrong, I suppose.

I imagine once the shift is made a lot of these things will settle in.

Good work. Looks nice, modern and clean. I like what you did with the logo in the bg of the bio page.

I guess a couple things us HODers want to know is if we'll have to login all the time and if we can still search the board topic database.

Also I increased the avatar size to 150x150. That should be plenty big.
