Is it sad?
two leaves dancing on the sidewalk?
A chance wind affords them a moment of fun
and they chase each other blissfully
round in circles.
and then... they are still.
they lay helpless on the cold cement.
One short moment of glee
one fleeting glory filled game...
a friendship they will never miss
for never they knew they had.
Then, quickly, they are whisped away.
Down the street they go!
I too forget,
and the moment is past.maxP
