I watched the movie "Knocked Up" finally... it was hilarious... maybe it was just the "mood" i was in... lol. but i laughed my ASS off through the whole thing... and i'm a girl, so of course i awwwed and was all happy and sappy when things turned romantic... anyway, if you want a simple laugh with some really fucked up humor at times... good movie... [Thumbs up]

I need to see that one!!! I watched "Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder" on Lifetime Movie Network this afternoon and it was really good. It was based on a true story that happened back in 1995.

I watched a REALLY BAD movie last night. Bloodrayne 2, The acting was so bad it was funny (in an unfunny way)
The worst scene in my opinion is the one where they come riding into town to free some kidnapped children from Billy The (Vampyre) Kid, The horses hooves are pounding across the muddy dirt road and you can clearly see tire tracks....WTF [Thumbs down] [Thumbs down]

One of the few movies I thought was a complete waste of money was the remake of the texas chainsaw massacre. I was indecisive about wether to laugh or hurl :-)

in general remakes never can match an original work...even with updated technology and flashy new movie stars 80% of the time a remake will just fall short...

... i have been watching all those damn previously unreleased horror films that are coming out on video now... Penny Dreadful was one of them. I thought that movie sucked some major ass... *nodding*... i watched another in the series, called "Unrest"... that was some dumb shit also. LOL. they are supposed to be previously unreleased because they were too graphic or too scary to be put on the big screen. Personally, i think it was just because they all fkn sucked. Deathproof DID kick ass though.... i can't wait to see the second part, the one that Rodriguez directed... i slept through the movie "music and lyrics" last night... so i have no clue if it's any good or not. lol. It will probably be good for what it is... whimsical little corny movie where 2 people meet, embarassing stuff happens to them both, then they get together, something tears them apart, and then they get bck together again... i could be wrong, though. *just grins*....

I thought the remake of war of the worlds with tom cruise was a good movie. I love the lord of the rings trilogy. Titanic is good, but I've watched it too many times. Pearl Harbor was a good movie, wind talkers was good, bringing out the dead with nicholas cage, is an older movie but good. My top picks are iron eagle (1 and 2), Blue Thunder (which is older, but it has good footage of a woman doing yoga and other exercises completely nude, so yeah it's a guy thing), and gone in 60 seconds (yeah it's the cars). So anyways, I would be listing all night, if I listed all the good ones I've seen, probably even longer if I started listing the bad ones *grin* B-Rated movies GRRRR. LOL

Rented Wild Hogs yesterday, It was slow in spots, but I enjoyed it. Travoltas acting kinda flashed back to Vinnie Barbarino a couple of times. [Thumbs up]

This Week I saw...
1) A GREAT movie, Transformers.
2) Horrible Movie , The Condemmed. I thought it would be pretty good with Stone Cold Steve Austin, but it was a pointless movie that used violence for violence sake, and was an insult to anyone who enjoys action movies.

*makes a mental note not to go see THAT one*... i love action movies... people seem to think that's weird, don't girls like action movies or something? i love them, lol. they are second only to suspense/thriller kinda stuff... murder mysteries and the like, such as The Bone Collector, Kiss the Girls, etc. Which reminds me to say that if ANYONE has not seen either one of these movies by now, for god's sake, go out and rent them NOW!!! 2 of my favorites. But yeah, the only thing worse than a bad horror movie is a bad action film.

i thought wild hogs was kinda slow too, rog... though it was a cute movie and all... and i haven't talked to ONE person of any age or gender that did not absolutely LOVE Transformers.

i figured out the deal with the "blades of glory" movie. it's kinda like napoleon dynamite, any adam sandler movie, etc... don't bother watching it unless you're fucked up. then it's amusing. *L* kinda like the Ricky Bobby movie... straight it is not funny. Fucked up, it has it's good moments... i have the "spidermonkey" ring tone... *just laughs*....

I actually liked The Condemned even though it was VERY violent. Tonight is going to be spent watching The Crow and passing out pencils. The Crow with the late Brandon Lee is my all time favorite movie and it is like a ritual for me to watch it on Halloween. I don't recommend any of the other Crow movies though because they really suck for the most part.

ok. so.... last night i watched the second part of the "grindhouse" deal, the 2 feature venture with tarantino and freddy rodriguez... i had already watched "deathproof", tarantino's contribution. And ya know what? i thought it was pretty good... until i watched "planet terror", rodriguez's movie. ummmmmmmm. he made tarantino look like a chump. big time. and that is something i never though anyone would hear coming outta ME, considering i am a HUUUUUUGE tarantino fan... but. it's true.. *shrugs*... the effects were better, the plot was better... the characters were better... it was just altogether a better movie... rodriguez rules on that one, as far as i'm concerned...

...and on a weird side note, lol. i didn't realize that freddy rodriguez the actor was "THE" freddy rodriguez. LOL. he starred in his own movie, that's when i started going hey waitaminute! isn't that the guy that played federico on Six Feet Under??? i LOVE that guy!!! he's on Ugly Betty at the moment as well, lol. d'oh. i knew the names were the same... just not that they were the same guy... he's one sick motherfucker, hehehe. but back to the movie... Planet Terror is fucking AWESOME. and you don't necessarily have to see Deathproof in order to watch it... they aren't related... they have a few of the same characters, and i noticed that there is mention of some of the characters that died in Deathproof here and there in Planet Terror... but nothing that would cause confusion just because the other half wasn't watched. anyway... excellent film, if you're into zombies, gore, and Rose McGowan playing a go-go dancer...

OK... *chuckles*... i made myself sound like an idiot... it was NOT freddy rodriguez that directed Planet Terror, it WAS robert rodriguez... lmao. i thought i was fucking crazy there... i kept thinking, THAT is the same guy? errrrrrrrr, no. lmao. freddy is an actor... robert rodriguez is the guy that put together the Sin City movie for Frank Miller... (tarantino was a guest director, but i don't remember for which story) another awesome flick. i just re-watched it again the other day.... i LOOOOOVE sin city... i gotta get more knowledgeable about robert rodriguez, because that makes TWO awesome movies i've seen that he directed... ANYONE that makes tarantino look like an amateur HAS to be worth checkin out!

Daniel had downloaded Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and we went out to get some dvd-r disks so he could burn it and we could watch it in the living room on the big tv. Well....in short he went to burn it while I was taking a nap and there was only like half the movie there. Evidentally the one he tried to download has a second part to it making it about 4 hours long. Uhhhh...somehow I don't think that is going to fit on a 120 minute disk...LOL.

I haven't seen 3 yet, but even using DVDshrink I don't think it can compress a 4 hour movie...LOL

Eh...he exaggerated it is only 168 minutes...LOL. You might be able to shrink it using DVD Shrink if you remove all the extras from it...LOL. Who knows...all I know is I woke up to the sound of cannons being fired and was like WTF!!!

lol... i haven't seen 3 yet. I already know one main plot development point that occurs which i was upset about... anyone who's seen it probably knows what i'm talking about... but i won't say it, for the ones that haven't seen it and don't know... i figure i'll just wait until it comes out on HBO, Showtime, or Max. lol. I have netflix, i suppose i could have rented it already, duh. But the problem i'm running into with THAT, and renting PPV on cable is this: You watch the movie right after it leaves the theater... then about a month or two later, it comes on one of the movie channels... then it is on ALL of them, one by one... you see this fucking movie that you actually paid MONEY to rent 65 freakin times, until you're so sick of it you can't stand it, even if you really sorta liked it the first time.

I dunno, i'm kinda thinkin it's a waste to have netflix AND the movie channels... but i'm a movie kinda person, lol. I don't watch ANY "regular" tv shows... no reality tv... *GASP!!!* lol. the only "show" i watch is dexter, and it comes on guess where? showtime! *L* and here, it is cheaper to get all 3 than it is to have one independently, so fuck. *L* And i'm kinda stuck with netflix, because if i get rid of it, i will get bored and rent PPV's... which are like $4 per movie... i only pay $16.95 a month for netflix, and get movies in batches of 3 as many times and as fast as i can send them back... if i really put my mind to it and didn't keep these things forever, lol, i could probably manage to see about 6 movies per week, give or take. That's 24 movies for 17 bucks, lol. On PPV i could only watch 4 movies for the whole month for the same price. So i guess really it does pay for itself... i had been thinking about canceling it, but don talked me right out of it with that spiel. LOL.

ANYWAY. i haven't seen anything new all weekend, because i still have sin city and of course, planet terror. i swear to you i have watched that movie about 5 times now, lol. i generally watch them more than once... but i don't wanna give that one back! i get one freebie "lost" movie... i should just fkn keep it, lol. free movie, woo hoo! ahem. i mean, but i won't of course... because that would be WRONG of me... *nodding*...

ok, i just looked this up, and i had NO idea that robert rodriguez had done so many movies! lots of movies that i had no idea he was involved with... apparently he and tarantino have been collaborators for a long time now! They worked on Four Rooms together, which is sick and hilarious, and also from dusk til dawn, and of course, my new fave, planet terror. *L*

2009 Barbarella Director In production

2010 The Jetsons Director Currently in pre-production

...i knew Sin City 2 was being made, but they already have plans for Sin City 3?? wow. though i'm sure they'll be good. And Barbarella!!! They're re-doing Barbarella! i was a 70's kid... i LOOOOOOOVED that fucking movie! i thought jane fonda was the prettiest woman in the whole world back then...s* well, for that matter, she very well may have been. *L* it was the freakiest most 70's-ish movie ever... her spaceship had floor to ceiling fur! and those outfits! hehehe. it's hilarious to watch now, but i think it would make one hell of a remake with technology and special effects being what they are now... should be interesting!

dammit. i think i am gonna be forced to watch the gay cowboy movie.

alright. lemme back up, lol. I have never watched Brokeback Mountain. i know, i know.... I KNOW!.... it was a good movie. *L*. i just... had no desire to watch it, i can't help it, *L*. i lust Jake Gyllenhaal... i don't wanna watch him play catcher for Heath Ledger. lol. ANYWAY.

i was flipping channels yesterday when i stayed home from work to rest my mangled foot... and came across the end of the movie. it was the part where Heath Ledger's character gets his postcard to Jake's character back with a "deceased" stamp on it. And when he calls the guy's wife and asks what happens, she tells him the story about the tire that blew up in his face and bashed him with the rim. Meanwhile, they are flashing to all these guys beating the fuck outta him with a tire iron and bashing his face in.

.... i have been thinking about that crap ever since, lmao. now i have to watch the damn movie. cuz i wanna know... is that what really happened? and was the flash just to show you what really happened, or was it something that was in Heath Ledger's head? if he got beaten to death, why? because he liked to get poked by cowboys or what? or was there more to it? dammit! i've been sucked into the story, even though i already know what happens at the end. which is kinda cool in a way, lol, but i still don't really wanna watch it... but i have to know what happened.

gotta love movies. [grrr]

Ok... i've heard a lot of people say they didn't care for this movie... but i LOVED The Number 23. I thought it was a GREAT suspense movie! and of course i love jim carrey, whether he is in a comedy, or something serious... It's very rare that i have not figured out the end of the movie, or at least nearly, by 15 or 20 minutes into the movie, lol. This one got off to kind of a slow start... i was thinking that i had heard right, the movie sucked, *L*... but i kept watching... and i'm glad i did! Murder, missing persons, guardians of the dead, violent sex fantasies, and trails that lead to about 3 different people at different times, making you unsure of who the real killer was.

ok. so i KINDA knew all along who the killer was gonna end up being, lol. But they still threw you a bone here and there that made you wonder... i won't say who it was, in case anyone that wants to see it hasn't watched it yet...

yesssss, it's twisted. and yeah, it's a little sick. but so is my mind, lol, making it a really good movie for me!

i loved the Transformers movie, rog... you were right... excellent movie... they almost make you forget that they're supposed to be robots... especially by the end... they seem so much like people... and i liked that the humans got to be involved in all the big stuff... rather than the transformers doing all the really tough work... *L*... it was hair raising at the end, to see whether or not sam would make it to the building... and then whether or not Optimus would have to die in order to destroy the cube... i loved the way it all turned out... and bumblebee stayed with sam to keep on protecting him.... i loved bumblebee.... *thumbs my nose at don*... even if he wasn't just like he was in the original story! lol... he was a really good character....

it was one of the best movies i've seen in a while....
