    What's Your Favourite Book? Why?
The question is very simple, what is your favourite book? And why? I have also added a small pool about how many books do you read each year.Anyway my favourite is L.A. Confidential written by James Ellroy. It's a very good police story with a intriguing plot, but it's also a masterpiece of politic and social analize. The power games of institutions, the corruption that have attacked police and government and the general underground atmosphere are the pillars to this beautiful book. It isn't a simply police book, but a fresco of a society and of a period of the US history.

    Hi,

To answer your question about how many books I read in a year, probably about 20.

Favourite book? All time favourite would be Wuthering Heights, closely followed by The Book Thief.

But I'm reading a romance novel at the moment that is set to be up there with the top . . . it's called Starting Over, by Sue Moorcroft.

Very strong characters and addictive plot. Can't put it down!

Don't have a favorite but I very much like Ron Paul's books, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, George Orwell's two hit novels, and I very much enjoy Mark Twain's essays.

My favorite book is David Copperfield. The book is fantastic .. author changed the time heard about new character .. if you have the feeling of what nature is about. The book is long, but it is very easy to follow. I like how there are reasons embedded within the general field, as it binds all the characters together.
