If PV loses to Appy and with Clintwood beating PV--let's say Clintwood wins out and this happens. This leaves Clintwood and PV with 3 losses each. How will it pan out?

Re: D2 Playoff outlook?

Letcher Central was 3-5 heading into tonights matchup against Evarts.
The Lee High win over Abingdon gave Haysi, Powell Valley, Gate City and Clintwood two unexpected rider points and more or less took 2 away from Honaker. If Honaker wins out, they'll be the #1 seed though regardless. Their season-ending matchup against Tazewell will be tough though. If they lose to Tazewell & Haysi wins out, Haysi will more than likely be the #1 seed, but with their SOS even that is a question mark at this time.

You've got that backwards. Letcher Central was 5-3, not 3-5.

My bad you are right, I was looking at Knox Central.

If Powell Valley loses to Appalachia, that will give them 4 losses (Seymour, Clintwood, Burton and Appy). In that case, GC would have to win at least one of the two remaining to make the playoffs. Clintwood wins out and puts them in the playoffs (if PV loses to Appy). If Clintwood, PV & GC all go 7-3 it would come down to ratings to which two out of the three make the playoffs. From just looking at it briefly (numbers), this would probably put PV & GC in the playoffs.

What I was afraid of. If we had gotten off our tails and beat Haysi, there wouldn't be as big of worry. Oh well, just have to hope for the best.

Well, if all three (PV, GC & Clintwood) finish at 7-3 it looks as if Clintwood would be the odd man out, but you never know. The unexpected Lee High win is a good example. Next week should clear it up quite a bit before heading into the last week of the regular season.

I wish Honaker would get John Battle off the schedule. The Trojans dropped another one 58-66 in a defensive showcase in Saltville tonight. Shoot, we drop Castlewood, who is a county rival and who can usually rack up a few wins a season but we still have Battle on the schedule. I just don't get it! I knew dropping C-wood was a mistake when they blasted JB out of the water in that benefit game.

Clintwood needs to win, which is going to be difficult and probably needs some help. I'm gonna be a Bulldog fan in 2 weeks, but thats all assuming (big assumption) that Clintwood can beat Norton, which isn't going to be easy at all.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
