    Co-ed Softball season in Wise

The registration forms are due in by May 19th at the Wise Town Hall. You can find them in the Coalfield Progress or pick on up at Town Hall in Wise. I talked to Robbie last week and only one team was signed up. We usually have 7 or 8 each season. See you all out there.

how long is the season? What kind of format do they use (pool play, double elimination season with various scheduling, etc.) and what days do they normally play. I would be interested in putting a team in if I have time. Thanks for any info.

the games are on mondays and tuesday start at 6:15..
u play two 5 inning games..
the season length depends on how many teams are in it..
after the season there is a tournament..and a homerun derby.
the guys hit a 16 inch softball and the girls can hit a 11 inch ball..
u have to play 5 girls and 5 guys can bat 12 if u have an extra guy and girl..
the lineup has to go guy/girl or girl/guy.

pretty fun league to be in and there is some good teams!

That would be better. I hated trying to throw that 16.

We didn't get a team together last year, and I haven't heard anything about one this year.

Re: Co-ed Softball season in Wise

I found out today about the new ball. That big ball would take all of a persons dignity away. I'm looking forward to using the new one. Hey mk3supra, just turn in your registration and leave the team preference space blank and Robbie will place you on a team that needs players.
