    Tom Brady - Pats - 6th rd
    Drew Brees - NO - 2nd rd
    Carson Palmer - cinci ? - 1st rd
    Aaron Rodgers - GB - 1st rd
    Mike Vick - Philly - 1st rd
    Eli Manning - NY - 1st rd
    Phillip Rivers - SD - 1st rd
    Mark Sanchez - NY - 1st rd

    Eastern Illinois is correct.

    Those are right.

Like with women, it's quality not quantity. UT and Harvard have more of both of those others listed.

Re: Star NFL QB's and the round they were drafted in

I found these #'s interesting too.

    Most draft picks since 2000

    1. Ohio State 73
    2. USC 69
    3. Miami 67
    4. Georgia 61
    5. Tennessee 60
    6t. Florida 59
    6t. Florida State 59
    8. LSU 55
    9. Virginia Tech 52
    10t. Michigan 49
    10t. Oklahoma 49

    Most first-rounders
    1. Miami 26
    2. Ohio State 16
    3. USC 15
    4t. Florida State 14
    4t. Texas 14
    6t. Florida 12
    6t. Oklahoma 12
    6t. Tennessee 12
    9. Georgia 11
    10. Penn State 10

As a UT fan there's not much more to **** you off than that. Not a ****ed thing to show for that.

Re: Star NFL QB's and the round they were drafted in

I didnt realize UGA had that many 1st round guys, taht surprises me because they never won anything either.

Doesnt UT have a SECCG title since 2000? I thought they won 1.

I knew UT had a bunch of picks but I didnt realize they had more than schools like Florida and LSU.

Bama is the opposite; hardly any 1st round picks (Rolando McClain, Kareem Jackson, Andre Smith) in recent memory but have a MNC title.
We could have three 1st rounders this year tho, with Julio and Dareus both being for sure 1st rounders and Ingram might sneak in towards the end of round 1.

UGA has 2 SECC's. UT hasn't won one since 98. They're 3rd in appearances, but 2-3 in the game. They choked one away in 01 against LSU who they beat earlier in the year. If they'd won that game they'd have played Miami for the NC.

The good thing about UT's picks is that most of them have been pretty productive/good players. Not a lot of busts out of the top guys either. UGA has had a bunch of **** players who've done nothing.

Re: Star NFL QB's and the round they were drafted in

I was looking at those numbers yesterday on the ESPN blog. It about made me sick too. Of course most of those came 2000-2005. 2001 was extremely disappointing.
