    Central/Pulaski/Gate City Scrimmage

Gate City: Looks good for first scrimmage. I know it's a rebuilding year for them but they are going to be very good. There a very physical.

Central: Offense looks good. Moved the ball well against both teams. Defense on the other hand needs alot of work. Overall will be a good team if the defense gets fixed.

Pulaski: Very good football team. They can run and throw. There offense i'm going to call a hydrid between a spread and single wing.

Pulaski is by far the domonite team here. Seeing they have over 1400 kids in the school they should be.

Gate City is the typical GC team solid defense and a good mix on offense.

Central will be able to move the ball. If the Defense comes around will surprise people.

I dont know how you can say pulaski was the dominate team knowing gc scored on them once and pulaski only scored once on us. pulaski ran all over Central. Central was not impressive for a consolidated school. But they will beat the typical thomas walkers and coeburns and miss the playoffs with a 7-3 record again.

Very glad that Central improved their schedule. It is not up to par with a schedule like GCs yet,but it is much stronger than in previous years. Sullivan North is expected to be stout this year. Sullivan Central held Tennessee High to 11yds on 8 carries the other night and the Carter kid is supposed to be the real deal. I know nothing about Johnson County TN but they have to be better than Rye Cove has been as of late

Actually North lost alot is my understanding and isn't supposed to be near as good as they have been the past couple of years.

Hearing differently from that from lots of folks. I guess we'll find out soon enough I know their JV bunch was brutal. We've not been thumped like that in JV in years

According to scrimmage article in Kingsport Times, North is picked to finish 3rd in conference behind Betsy and Happy Valley

Keep in mind Betsy has been down and Happy Valley is terrible.

Traditionally both are strong programs. Here's hoping they return to form this year. I know that Betsy looked sharp last night vs Tazewell but the Dawgs are undergoing lots of changes and trying to get on track.
