Graham was an amazing running back. The good and bad thing about Lee's football program is that the Anders kid is probably just as good as Graham and he has one year left. I hope they can get something straitened out as well so that Anders can play on a good program

Anders is a senior. Lee has 12 seniors graduating this year.

The Anders boy is probably just as good as Graham, just didn't get as many oppurtunities to shine... if you want to see him in action though... come on out to some track meets this spring.. he competed at the state level in the 100, 200 and 4X100 relay and is really fast.. he is also a really great kid... I am not in any way taking anything away from Graham.. know him really well also... but really felt for Anders for not getting many oppurtunities.. they could have had a trio of backs there as well.. with Snodgrass at the fullback..

He had the opportunities but let more get away as the season went on, turnovers hurt him especially. He'll certainly be a part of an another fast group if sprinters this track season.

    Snodgrass is transferring to TW.

Per post on CMD forum, Barry Jones may have been named Lee's next coach.

Now this will definately make it interesting. Jone did not play the "intrusive parent game" at P.V. or Gate City.

I was thinking that Anders was a Junior. Its sad that he's a senior. IMO Anders could have started at any other school in this area. He made some killer runs when he had the ball. IDK if he was as fast as Graham, but I do know that he was just as good of a back as Graham.

Re: Lee football carousel still rolling

Barry Jones is by far the BEST coach that has ever coached in SWVA. The stats back this statment up. Barry was the reason for 7 of the 8 State championships at Powell Valley and Barry also played a huge roll in Gate city's last two state championships. That man is wearing 9, yes count them9, state rings for coaching. Thats more than any active coach in SWVA. It was proven when Barry left Powell Valley and went to Gatecity that Barry was the driving force behind the winning tradition at Powell Valley. In 2005 Phill made it back to the state game with PV and lost (the only state lose for the vikings). Phill is an offencive genius, a fact that was proven time and again with powell valley, but if Phill has to so much as worry about anything other than his offece then he goes all to hell and cant keep up with it. Barry basicly ran the show for years and was more loved than any other coach has been at Powell Valley. Barry made Phill and I feel like that is a statement that anyone who ever wore the Columbian blue will agree with. If Barry goes to Lee high, you can expect to see a huge difference in there team within two years. Barry dont play politics, Barry plays football players. He will in no way give into the political BS or be bought off. If Lee lands Barry Jones they will have the best coach that has ever put on ear phones in SWVA.
