    This is sad news indeed. But at the same time, not surprising. I think that we are going to start seeing more of this from professional athletes for a number of reasons. Finances, injuries(particularly to the head), and their inability to cope with the aggressive mentality they have to have in order to be able to play at the professional level.

    Seems like he had been unstable for a while now. It's so sad. There is such a thing as permanent post-concussion syndrome and it can mess up a person. Whether Seau's was this or some other aspect of life changes, I don't know. Like you said centennialdawg, it seems like this is becoming more prevalent with professional athletes, especially in football and hockey. Sad news, indeed.
    Looking for my Darcy, but finding only Wickham. Right now, I'd settle for Bingley.
