I'm done with Monterrey's. There was one summer where I ate there on 3 separate occasions, all about a month apart, and got REALLY sick. I stick to Los Arcos for Mexican food now that I'm here in Abingdon.

my dad and I bought some from Pay-less...it was supposed to be an imitation of Monterrey's cheese. The brand was Gordo's I think...it was okay, I just prefer the actual restuarant cheese better

It's the kind that's vacuum sealed in a disk-like shape or a square (think there are 2 brands - no difference between them if you ask me).
We've used it before. Following the instructions on the pack doesn't make did AS good as the restaurants, but fairly close. I'd add some peppers to it.
You can buy any brand of white American cheese too.
It's down beside the biscuits/cookie dough.

It's a small block of cheese, you cut the block into small cubes, then had about 8oz of milk. Without the milk it is too thick...
