4. "Delirium"[edit]
A conversation about Edgar Allan Poe and his death from delirium tremens reminds Joe of the last time she saw her father. She is the only one to visit him in the hospital as he dies of cancer. Joe's father asks her not to slander her mother, who is afraid of hospitals, for not being by his side, explaining they said their goodbyes. Joe is a firsthand witness as her father deteriorates into fits of violent spasms, paranoid delusions and screams for his wife. To take her mind off her father's suffering, Joe has sexual intercourse with several people at the hospital. When he finally dies, Joe becomes sexually aroused, with a drop of vaginal fluid running down her thigh as she stands in front of the body, and becomes numb with depression.

THE JEWISH TALMUD IS A WICKED BOOK. The Talmud teaches Jews to look down on Gentiles as inferior to them. Don’t believe the Jews when they tell you that Judaism does not teach contempt for the Gentiles. They’re lying. The Jews say they honor “righteous Gentiles.” But “righteous Gentiles” for the Jews are not pious Christians. “Righteous Gentiles” for the Jews are those who promote Jews and their agendas - like George W Bush and Hilary Clinton.I grew up as a Jew and I know how the Jews view “outsiders.” The Jews have nothing but contempt for all mankind except for themselves. The Jews use disdainful Yiddish words amongst themselves to describe the Gentiles:“Goyim:” This is what the Jews derisively call Gentiles to indicate an “animal nature” of the Gentiles.“Schwartza:” This is what the Jews derisively call blacks to indicate an “ape like nature” of the blacks.“Shiksa:” This is what the Jews derisively call a Gentile woman to indicate a “carnal nature” of a Gentile woman. ~ This Yiddish word “shiksa” is derivative of the Hebrew word “shegitz” which refers to the carcass of a pig. “Goyisha Kup:” This is what the Jews derisively call another Jew who is stupid. “Goyisha Kup” means “Stupid Gentile Brain.”From whence comes this Jewish disdain for the Gentiles? It comes from the Talmud, a wicked book, which the Jews consider more authoritative than the Bible.

But in 2011, things took a turn. Costs for Eric Trump's tournament jumped from $46,000 to $142,000, according to the foundation's IRS filings. Why would the price of the tournament suddenly triple in one year? "In the early years, they weren't being billed [for the club]--the bills would just disappear," says Ian Gillule, who served as membership and marketing director at Trump National Westchester during two stints from 2006 to 2015 and witnessed how Donald Trump reacted to the tournament's economics. "Mr. Trump had a cow. He flipped. He was like, 'We're donating all of this stuff, and there's no paper trail? No credit?' And he went nuts. He said, 'I don't care if it's my son or not--everybody gets billed.' "

All in the Family, Brothers Wage War on Uncle Fidel
By ABBY GOODNOUGH
MARCH 8, 2006
MIAMI, March 6 - If Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart had his way, Cuba's baseball team would be barred from the first World Baseball Classic this month.
Mr. Diaz-Balart, the Florida Republican who is vice chairman of the House Rules Committee, even asked Major League Baseball to let a makeshift team of Cuban exiles and defectors play instead, a proposal that was spurned.
"It is difficult to believe," Mr. Diaz-Balart wrote the organization, "that M.L.B. would have invited a team from apartheid-era South Africa to participate in a tournament. Yet you have invited a totalitarian dictatorship which has murdered thousands and imprisoned hundreds of thousands for the 'crime' of supporting freedom and democracy."
Mr. Diaz-Balart, 51, is Mr. Castro's denouncer in chief in South Florida and Washington, treating anything that could benefit his government like a toxic threat. He sets the tone of exile politics in Miami, signs off on changes in the Bush administration's Cuba policy and keeps heat on Congress to reject any weakening of the trade embargo.
But in a twist that is not widely known outside Miami, Mr. Diaz-Balart is also Mr. Castro's nephew. His father, once Mr. Castro's close friend, became his "foremost and most consistent opponent" leading up to the revolution, Mr. Diaz-Balart said -- even though Mr. Castro had married his sister.
The half-century battle between Miami and Havana has driven countless families apart, with some pledging loyalty to Mr. Castro and others fleeing Cuba. Even the custody tug-of-war over Eli?n Gonz?lez, a Cuban boy, was at its core a nasty family feud. But few such rifts have had the prominence and intensity of Castro versus Diaz-Balart.
Like his father, who warned the Cuban Congress in 1955 that freeing Mr. Castro from prison would bring "many days of mourning, of pain, of bloodshed and of misery," Mr. Diaz-Balart, elected in 1992, has poured his soul into fighting for a democratic Cuba. His younger brother, Representative Mario Diaz-Balart, a fellow Republican who was elected to Congress in 2002, is also devoted to the cause.
Mr. Castro once called the Diaz-Balarts his "most repulsive enemies," reports Ann Louise Bardach, whose book "Cuba Confidential: Love and Vengeance in Miami and Havana," explored the family divisions that the revolution spawned.
For many Cuban-Americans in Miami, especially older ones who lost wealth and power after the revolution, the Diaz-Balarts symbolize the lost potential and the commitment of Mr. Castro's enemies to retrieving it, no matter how long it takes.
"They are the embodiment of what this community thinks and feels," said Ninoska Perez Castellon, a popular host on Radio Mamb?.
Mr. Diaz-Balart's father, Rafael, was a classmate of Mr. Castro, and Rafael's younger sister, Mirta, married Mr. Castro in 1948. But the friendship died after Fulgencio Batista took over Cuba in 1952, Rafael Diaz-Balart joined his government and Mr. Castro tried to overthrow it, landing in prison.
Mirta Diaz-Balart filed for divorce soon afterward, and Mr. Castro seized custody of their son, Fidelito, after taking control of Cuba in 1959.
Rafael Diaz-Balart was visiting Paris with his wife and sons when Mr. Castro took power, and they never went home. Rafael did not enter American politics, but he was the most trusted adviser of Lincoln and Mario until he died last year at 79. Two other sons also live in Miami: Rafael, an investment banker, and Jose, a news anchor for Telemundo, the Spanish-language network.
Ms. Bardach said Rafael Diaz-Balart had groomed two of his children to be political leaders in hope that they would return to Cuba and fulfill his own destiny there.
But Lincoln Diaz-Balart said his family resented the assumption that theirs was a personal vendetta, which he said had dogged them ever since his father warned the Cuban Congress not to free Mr. Castro.
"It's a way in which they systematically tried to discredit us," he said, "by saying, 'It's personal.' "
So, too, he said, is the popular rumor here that Mr. Diaz-Balart wants to succeed Mr. Castro as Cuba's ruler. "All attacks like that are ways to impugn my motives and to not focus on our ideas and our ideals," he said.
His real goal, he said, is to teach Cuban history on the island once his political goals for it -- democratic elections, release of political prisoners, and creation of political parties, unions and a free press -- are met.
Mr. Diaz-Balart, whose suburban district is more than 70 percent Hispanic, wrote the legislation codifying the embargo against Cuba. But he does not want to be seen as solely focused on Cuba. His district has growing numbers of Nicaraguan, Colombian and other Hispanic immigrants, and he has supported legislation that benefits them. He recently fought a plan to end a temporary work program for Central Americans, which the Department of Homeland Security ultimately decided to extend.
"If you don't focus on my immigration work and my fight for Central Americans, Latin Americans and Hispanics generally," he said, "then it's a very incomplete story."
With Mr. Castro still in power decades after the embargo began, some call the strategy a failure. Yet President Bush remains firmly in the Diaz-Balart camp. In January, his Justice Department charged two professors here with spying for Mr. Castro and stepped up its crackdown on travel to Cuba, suspending the license of a South Florida travel agency that had booked trips to the island.
"We are batting 1.000," Mr. Diaz-Balart said in an interview, sitting in his office amid photographs of jailed Cuban dissidents. "There were times in the past where I was batting .100, but we're not there anymore."
But that brings us back to baseball, and Mr. Diaz-Balart's failure to persuade the Bush administration to bar the Cuban team from the tournament. The Cubans will play Panama on Wednesday in San Juan, P.R.
Mr. Bush reversed an earlier decision and granted the Cuban team a license after Major League Baseball guaranteed that Cuba would not receive American money from the contest. Denying the license might have quashed the entire tournament, because other countries had threatened to withdraw and the International Baseball Federation had said it might not sanction the event if Cuba was left out.
If Mr. Diaz-Balart felt betrayed, he did not show it, using tame words like "lamentable" to describe Mr. Bush's decision. He hopes some Cuban team members will defect, he said, embarrassing Mr. Castro.
"Perseverance and perspective until victory," Mr. Diaz-Balart said. "I haven't been given many things, but I've been given ample, limitless patience."

Now that ?New Physics? & ?Old Pedophilia? truths escape their compartmentalized, hermetically-sealed, toothpaste-like tubes, ?Powers That Be? are now ?Powers That Were.?
Cheap, post-Tesla-physics-based ?New Energy? technologies revolutionize monetary, banking & economic systems worldwide. Communism dead; Capitalism bankrupt. Supply/Demand-based economic equations obsolete when energy is virtually free.
A powerful arrow in the quiver of the ?Powers That Were? was a global pedophilia-based blackmail ring ? making it cheap to control government, military & corporate officials.
As the Scalia murder, pedophilia blackmail & post-Tesla physics yarn balls congruently unravel, we now enter a new era in global economics & governance. An understatement.

Wu-Tang Clan's $2M album nearly got Martin Shkreli killed
BY SHERRYL CONNELLY
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Sunday, July 2, 2017, 5:00 AM
Tweet
Federal agents shackled Martin Shkreli in 2015, accusing him of drastic fraud tactics. (ALEC TABAK/FOR NEW YORK DAILY NEWS)
Multi-millionaire Martin Shkreli ? while reveling in his role as America?s most hated man ? remained unaware that he was marked for gangsta revenge.
The FBI may have saved the Pharma Bro?s life by taking the weasel into custody at his Midtown apartment on securities fraud charges in the early hours of Dec. 17, 2015.
Shkreli had just unleashed a vicious dis of RZA, leader of the iconic hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. A gang war was in the offing.
?There had to be retaliation for this ... maybe even bullets from a Staten Island crew who wouldn't let the Clan get dissed by this f---,? claims the author of a bombshell new book.
Judge grants Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli separate fraud trial
?Once Upon a Time in Shaolin,? by Cyrus Bozorgmehr, tells the inside story of the making and selling of the infamous record of the same name ? famously snared at auction by Shkreli for $2 million.
Bozorgmehr was part of the tribunal wielding final authority over the deal. He was representing the money man, identified only as Mr. S., who funded the album through six years of development.
The notorious project was the brainchild of Tarik (Cilvaringz) Azzougarh, who managed events and tours for Clan members. Wu-Tang member Robert (RZA) Diggs was the third man.
?Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" was a musical throwback to the years when the Wu dominated East Coast rap. Their first record, "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)," revolutionized hip-hop in 1993.
Shkreli demands all prosecutors' evidence in fraud case
Shkreli went off-script, lashing out at de facto Wu-Tang point man RZA in an interview ? and they nearly brought the pain in response. (KEN HIVELY/LA TIMES VIA GETTY IMAGES)
Fans were outraged when it was announced the record would be not only a single-album sale to the highest bidder ? but that buyer was also barred from commercially releasing it for 88 years.
"Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" was not music for the people, even though the Wu-Tang had once been all about the people. Six of the nine original crew came from the Staten Island projects.
The record was shamelessly marketed as music for the one percent. But Cilvaringz, and the others, claimed noble purpose.
The crassly obscene sale would sound a warning knell. If music streaming made it impossible for musicians to make a living, artists would be forced to follow the money.
Martin Shkreli leaks 2 alleged tracks off Lil Wayne's 'Carter V'
Shkreli may only be living in the world today because the FBI intervened to arrest him. (MICHAEL GRAAE/FOR NEW YORK DAILY NEWS)
Along with everything else, the rich would have all the music, too.
From the get-go, Cilvaringz kept a failsafe fraud in place in the event there were no bidders. He'd fake a sale.
Act one: A heroic (and bogus) buyer would emerge, throw down his millions and successfully challenge the restrictive sales clause.
Rather than exercise his right to give the music away for free, the hero would put 36,000 copies on sale at jacked-up prices. The moneyman and the Clan would reap the returns.

(PAUL BERGEN/REDFERNS)
Wu-Tang founder Robert (RZA) Diggs and Clan affiliate Tarik (Cilvaringz) Azzougarh negotiated the album's sale.
Act two: A subsequent dramatic reveal of the "greatest trick ever pulled in the history of music."
It was a complicated ruse, but simple compared to the one Cilvaringz came up with after they sold the record to the Public Enemy No. 1 Shkreli, with his estimated net worth of $50 million.
Only days after Shkreli's bid was accepted, the CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals jacked the price of a life-saving AIDS drug by more than $700 a pill.
?Suddenly evil
?Suddenly evil had a face, and we were standing next to it,? Bozorgmehr writes. ?We'd sold him the f---ing album.?
'Pharma Bro' Martin Shkreli asks Brooklyn judge to lower his bail
Die-hard fans demand more, but the Wu only produced one copy of "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin." (SCLUZAY/ WARREN WESLEY PATTERSON)
The tribunal couldn't bring itself to walk away from the cash. And RZA could fairly claim they were unaware of Shkreli?s reputation during negotiations.
When the triumvirate first met Shkreli at the closing, they found him to be a likeable guy. He even offered to start a phony beef with RZA so the Clan could vilify him while cashing the check.
Cilvaringz thrilled to Shkreli's appetite for fraud. Even better, once news broke that Pharma Bro was the buyer, Cilvaringz was handed the framework for his most Machiavellian scheme yet.
In the uproar, a fake news story went viral claiming there was a clause in the contract under which the Clan could steal back the record.
Martin Shkreli heads to Brooklyn court over fraud charges
"Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" by Cyrus Bozorgmehr.
The Clan, or comedian Bill Murray, had the one-time right to pull off a heist with no legal repercussions.
Even RZA had to laugh. "We're really feeling to urge to call Bill Murray," he tweeted.
But Cilvaringz saw CREAM ? the acronym the crew famously coined for Cash Rules Everything Around Me, the title of one of their early singles.
His bizarre plan: Cilvaringz, Murray, RZA and bandmates GZA, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah would burst in on Shkreli, drug him unconscious and then toss the office.
Potential jurors in 'Pharma Bro' trial too disgusted to serve
But the six masked men would emerge empty-handed. The failed heist would be live-streamed.
Shkreli would respond with an offer. If the Clan was willing to go to those lengths to get the record back, and the Wu fans hated him that much, he'd put 36,000 copies on sale for $100 each.
Once the target had been reached, he would release the album ?and accept it belongs to the world.?
If it didn't break the 36,000 mark, Shkreli threatened to destroy the sole copy live online. Snap the CD clean in half.
More jurors called into Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli's jury pool
Shkreli, who seemed eager for America to hate him even more, was thrilled to join the plot. Cilvaringz was unbothered about popularizing Public Enemy No. 1.
It would be great hip-hop theater. Except ...
The play called for Shkreli to publicly sign an amendment allowing the masked crew to stage the heist. Cilvaringz planned on slyly inserting legally enforceable language assigning rights to the record to the Clan.
Farce or fraud? A little of both.
Martin Shkreli's lawyer calls him 'weird' at start of fraud trial
Shkreli all but levitated with excitement when Cilvaringz invited him into the conspiracy. Within hours, he went off-script by giving an interview to the powerhouse website, HipHopDX.
And then he totally trashed RZA.
?This guy is f---ing full of himself, talking about how his s--- is the best ever, how f---ing Bobby Digital (RZA's persona as a solo artist) was the best s--- ever.
?I?d encourage him to shut the f--- up before he goes a little too far. We?ll see what happens. I think he's a smart man. He definitely acts like his s--- doesn't stink and he invented rap.?
Shkreli blew funding on bad bet, didn?t tell investors: witness
Bozorgmehr was appalled: ?No one has ever dissed RZA, or the Clan like that. Ever ... He had moved us into something bloodcurdlingly sinister whether any of us liked it or not.
?Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing ta F--- Wit,? he continued, invoking another of the band?s songs. ?And there's an awful lot of gangsta motherf---ers who'd be delighted to step to Martin first ? no matter what anyone said. Man's going down.?
But Shkreli caught a break instead of a bullet. The next morning at 6 a.m., the feds moved in to arrest him.
Cilvaringz called Shkreli two days later after he was released on bail. He couldn't penetrate Shkreli's insanity to make the wealthy young outcast realize that real danger was imminent.

Hi, hope I can add a little info to this site even though the post is older as some will find it down the road. Evidently Utah bought up the Trusonic line in the late 60's as I recall. From what I can tell the black frame and edging came from this era of the last of the Trusonic's, or the beginning of the Utah production, maybe Utah wanted a new look or ran out of the red goop. The later run from the early 70's and on were green and I believe that Utah was responsible for the 120W/150W and 80M versions which had the paper center caps and designated as only woofers and the M for midrange.
There was a manufacturer named PAS here in Los Angeles in the early 70's using the Trusonic parts, they were a group of Aerospace Engineers I believe. The company never made it and I have no idea where they went off too, though there is a Musical Instrument Co. with that name but if that had anything to do with them I am not sure. These do not appear to be from that company, my guess is someone swapped parts from some other brand cabinet and used the EV horn tweeter or maybe it had the tweeter already in it.
All of the speakers made by Utah were like the originals and have flat ribbon voice coils with alnico magnets, some say Utah on them with the name Trusonic. Hope this helps, Jay
I found a pair of these about 20 years ago...
... and I would like to share my thoughts.
First of all, these are not "one off" home brews. They may very well have been kits, but the fact that I found an identical pair in an old TV repair shop around 1995, makes it a commercial item.
My pair had a bad EV tweeter and a midrange that was suffering from bad voice coil rubbing. I sold both pair a long time ago. However I kept the 150W, which by the way, are GREAT woofers.
Going from memory here, as I recall, the crossover consisted of a single capacitor feeding the tweeter. Both woofer and midrange were wired in parallel. I suspect that they are both 16 ohm speakers. The DCR on the two FR80 was 5.6 and 5.1 ohms. I currently have a pair of older OEM FR80 that are 8 ohm drivers and came out of a Ampex studio monitor. They measure 4.8 and 4.8 DCR. The big 150W woofers measure 8.2 and 8.2 DCR.
I suggest that these driver come from the Tru-Sonic period of the mid to late 1960s. My Stephens manufactured "Ampex" FR80 are clearly early OEM jobs. They do not have the painted frame and have the pristine gold dust cap and red surround. The two that came with the speakers in question, are as pictured in the thread, aluminum dust cap and black surround. Pretty sure that this would be a late sixties version. The woofer however, while it looks like a green surround, I suggest you look more closely - or maybe remove it and look from behind - you will see that the green color is provided by a green painted on dope. At least in the case of my pair of 150W, the actual cloth surround is RED - with the green dope painted on. The woofer are outstanding and should not be taken lightly... which is easy, since they are very heavy.

From ISIS to America, the state is able to convince their enforcers to commit horrid acts in their name ? all the while their subjects cheering it on as patriotism. In spite of Golan?s dedication to the IDF, he is still able to see the potential for such destruction and his words should be considered by all countries.
Throughout history, very small groups of humans have been able to convince very large groups of humans to carry out evil and immoral acts of murder and abuse. It?s time to stop this.
While the citizens bash each other over silly issues of right vs. left or Islam vs. Christianity, those at the top get richer, more powerful and more tyrannical.

Neural nets are likely to be just another feature offered in cloud computing. Offer the tools for free for people to build and train them and then run them as part of a larger cloud offering. There is no reason why an AI component needs to be front and center. It's just a feature that incorporates different algorithms and processors. So it seems like the race is between the big cloud providers - Google, Microsoft and Amazon to incorporate it into their services. But Google does seems to have a huge head start. IBM may be better off running a consulting service to help companies build and train their neural nets with these existing tools

Yes, I hired Mark to do PR work for Emerald Physics about 2 years ago. I have known him for over 35 years and consider him a friend. I bought Audio Alchemy products as well as Genesis products from him at my former company. Yes, Mark has made some severe mistakes and he has paid the price for those, and continues to do so. Sometimes good people do bad things and Mark freely admits his mistakes and is in the process of paying back all the money involved and apologizing appropriately. He has worked two jobs over the last few years working 70-80 hours a week to make proper restitution for his crimes.
However, once he has paid the price that society decided was proper punishment for his crimes I for one believe in forgiveness and the ability to get on with one?s life. Mark has been in the audio industry his entire life and in some ways the industry is his life. He is an extremely talented product designer with great passion for what he does. To say that Mark should not be allowed to work in the audio industry is absurd in my opinion. This is not the financial services industry where people handle millions of dollars of other people?s money. All financial transactions come thru me in the end I take responsibility for all my sales.
Some time ago Mark started contributing design work for me and now comes to shows as well. I am not ashamed to put him in front of the public or to call him my friend. He has done great work in transforming Emerald Physics into a far better company than when I bought it a few years ago. He now works with customers in our Emerald Physics Showplace in Colorado as well. He has permission to do this. It is interesting to note that almost everyone that has contact with Mark loves him and the high quality of customer service that they have received. The outpouring of industry support has also been extraordinary. In the end the buck stops here and I would be glad to speak personally to anyone who wants to call me and discuss this at 770-667-5633.

ixed feelings...
Two of the four of these I purchased did not have enough glue around where the surroind connects to the frame. One made a very loud clicking sound louder than the music. When the cone was pished in and out by hand it was like a ripping cardboard sound. I put some more glue around the surround and let it dry. Problem fixed but that's when I discovered the second speaker making the same noise only quieter. Not happy with that but on the other hand the rest of the speaker is ok. Frame is tin can thin but that's a given with the price. The motor seems ok I have given them some power and they run cool.

woofer. posted the pic of. WHFXXXX is indeed the format Waldom used for their aftermarket cones, though they've changed the format now to "HFXXXX". And yes, they do apparently STILL use a round-wire coil in their replacement cone kits, even though flat-wire coils, identical to the originals, are available elsewhere these days.
Sometimes, when doing an aftemarket recone, I'll use a Waldom cone (some of their cones are almost dead-ringers for the originals, as far as weight, stiffness, treatment and such are concerned) with a MWA voice coil (flat-wire). This, usually, will result in a woofer that has identical specs to the original. In fact, we just had to recone a LE15B this way... the only LE15 model with a corregated surround... because JBL no longer carries a corregated-surround LE15 kit. Used a Waldom cone, with a MWA voice coil, spider and dustcap... and it came out right-on.
I also think. is right, in his assessment of. 's woofers. If that woofer WAS reconed, it was reconed VERY early in its life, and the PROPER FACTORY kit was used. It may well be, that the dome alone was replaced, as that, as. ..... mentioned, was a common operation as the domes got dented or punctured
