In my experience it is cheaper to buy an assembled doll bed, rather than buy the materials to make one. I researched this very notion before I bought some unfinished beds available at my local mill store. I would have paid almost 40 dollars for wood (pine) and materials. I bought two single beds (8th from the bottom)for 9.96 each and painted them. They look great with the bedding that I made and the girls fit nicely with plenty of room to spare.

There is also a wonderful ebay store that carries unfinished doll furniture. Not cheap by any means, but nice quality. I like their bunk bed better than the one available at The Mill Stores.

We want a doll bed for josefina and a double size for nann and felicity. My husband sais he can make them but he has no experience. So I was wondering if there was a very easy affordable way to have him do this. More like assembly rather then real wood working.
