The thing about a separatist community is that it's really the last gate on your way out when you're finally fed up.

...or in some cases, it's a revolving door that never stops spinning, and sometimes the centrifugal force tosses you back the way you came. Repeatedly. Like, several times a year. For, what? like 3 or 4 years now. Stupid revolving door.

So, how long since any of you bought and/or player Heroclix? I have been clean since Mutant Mayhem, of which I purchased one booster.

I ended up with a few boosters of Origin, and then I pretty much quit the tourney scene because of the Galactus crap. The local joint can't compete with a five case buy-in, and I didn't see the point of driving over an hour for a herald, because I was pretty confident I'd be able to pick them up for cheap on the secondary if I wanted them badly enough. While I was completely right about the value, I still haven't been motivated enough to follow through with the gamble yet. Plus, I bought one booster of Avengers, mostly to confirm what everyone was complaining about. It's true - that set sucks for quality.

I got one of the "thank you" boosters of Justice League in the mail. Much, much better, and I'm probably going to order a brick.

Oh, but I still play fairly often and love the game to bits. It's just that I have a very hard time supporting the company that makes it these days. I just don't feel that they deserve my money.

I didn't purchase any Origins, but did purchase five boosters of Avengers for the Galactus thing.

other than two of the Herald matches, I haven't played in an offical heroclix tourny since October.

Wow, kinda makes me wish we had a better community where I live. *shrugs* Ah well. Only thing I want to do is purchase a Scarlet Spider when he goes for cheap; always wanted the figure.
