I just got a bunch of Super 8 stuff including a projector, screen, and they just threw in a camera and movie light free.

Anyway the cam is a Kodak Instamatic M6 and it has a really nice zoom lense, light meter, etc but as soon as I put in the batteries it starts running (without me pressin ght trigger). My guess is something is jammed but I can't dislodge it and it looks hard to take apart. Any advice? If I can't get it fixed this will just have to be a conversational piece (and I will probably give up on S8)

It sounds like the trigger may be locked in what is known as "run / lock mode. You may want to see if there is a release that takes the trigger out of run lock mode.
