Kodak has shifted it's production of Super-8 from France back to the United States.

This is probably a good thing because the most knowledgeable Kodak specialists in the area of Super-8 probably live in the United States.

I am going out on a small limb here and theorizing that rather than do a final run of all their super-8 film stocks before moving their facilities back to the U.S. from France, higher priority was placed on getting the new Super-8 production facilities up and running in the United States.

Plus, if for any reason quality control was an issue, (and I'm not saying it was, but if it was), then it would make no sense to keep making film where it was being made prior to the move.

Hopefully by mid summer Kodak will have it's own Super-8 production line back in the United States up & running cranking out all kinds of Super-8 goodies.
