    Unhappy Fil is not running!

I just been outside to shoot my first Super8 (ever), but it seems like the film is not running. The motor spins but the lap counter is not moving and I have filmed longer than 3:20 minutes.
I tried to roll the film forward manually a little bit and tried filming again but it is still not running.
The film is an Ektachrome 64 and it is supposed to work with the camera (Bauer C Royal).
Any advise? Very thankful for any help I can get.

Most cameras will run even when no film is in the cartridge. You may want to confirm that the pull down claw is moving up and down, and that the black hub that turns the film spindle is moving as well.

Sometimes the cartridges do jam, also as these cameras age the resistance increases. The combination of older drier grease can just make it that much harder for the camera to move the film.
