    film?

    Hi

I just got a Canon zoom 250 super 8 for christmas. I plan on using it for mostly skateboarding videos where I will be shooting outdoors in strong sunlight.

I was curious as to what is the best type of film to use in this situation.

Currently I am shooting with a kodachrome 40 type A cartridge that I had lying around and everytime I go to shoot in daylight the light meter Goes all the way to the top which I assume means over exposed. Unfortunately my camera is completly auto so I cant do anything to adjust the exposure.

I have done a little bit of reading but I am still unsure as too which film I should be generally using.

Any quick answers would be appreciated.

    Re: film?

You probably are not overexposing the film if it is kodachrome 40. However, it is possible that the camera needs a light meter battery.

I like the Vision 200 film as it is very very versatile, but you will need to use a higher end transfer house to transfer your film to video.
