I absolutely deplore non XLR audio connectors.

However, it would be useful to discuss what products exist out there that bridge the gap (so to speak) between different audio interface connections.

Coolest Looking Interface, But are the Audio Pots Correctly Tapered???

The first time I saw one of these, I was quite taken by the concept. However, we tested one of these units at our video club meeting (about 4 years ago), and our tech guru discovered that the audio pots were improperly tapered.

This meant that the audio pan pot "sweet spot" was so sensitive to change that if one slightly moved the audio pot left or right, the signal would either distort or become practically mute.

I felt so sorry for all the people who were buying this product, not knowing what we had discovered as a group in our video club meeting. I HOPE this problem has been fixed.
If it has, these would be very cool interfaces to own.

These audio interfaces actually double as a tripod mount!

You may use a quite cheap transformer:

I meant to post a second link, where the part is under $20.00.

    $19.95

It may be best to learn to do it yourself, but the above connector is a big discount over the beachteck product.

I still like variable audio attenuation via an adjustable pot versus one level only attentuation, but the variable pots have to be made correctly.

S-8 Booster, thanks for the diagram. What about 1/8 inch mini connectors?
