Just wondering...am curious about the results..if the super 8 looks as good as the 35mm...wow! I would go completely mad with joy if someone offered this on a regular basis...it gives the super saturated colors that today's audiences expect...except Kodachrome does give more true to life colors, especially facial tones...and Kodachrome probably is more archival than Velvia.

Moderator note...since so much good info was supplied about regular 8mm, I added a regular 8mm reference to the title of this post.
In other words, no Mikey B words were lost or harmed in the editing of this post.

This is a surprising (and fun) revelation! I too, am interested in your new conversion! What type of camera are you using? Lenses? I have some old reg 8 cameras, and while fun to play with, they are older and technically less savvy than my super 8 camera...I bet you're using some really nice equipment...where are you getting your film stock...John Schwind? What type of film are you using? Processing at Dwayne's?

How did you get your Bolex so cheap? I looked on Ebay, and the prices seem pretty steep for a format where the film is not readily available (at least in the public's perception!) Is this the camera you have? Bolex camera It's sure a beauty, and i'd love to have one...if I could get it for 100!
