Hopes:
-To finish editing Circus of the Damned and arrange for it to be printed on DVD/VHS and get drunk.
-For Circus of the Damned to be fun to watch.
Fears:
-To not finish Circus of the Damned and remain sober.
-For Circus of the Damned to be really really bad.

2006 has already started, and I have no idea what it'll be like. This time last year I was halfway through production on 'Anamnesis', about to start a new 'proper' job I was excited about and Palace were in the Premiership.
This time this year my girlfriend of 7 years will leave if I start working on another film, my contract on my 'proper' job is about to expire, and I can't find a new job, because instead of doing post-graduate exams, I've been making movies and Palace are in the Championship (although admittedly they have ahd some good results this week).
Plans for 2006:
1) Submit 'Anamnesis' to a film festival, and get it screened.
2) Get some DVDs printed.
3) Get a new 'proper' job with more than a 6 month contract.
4) Pass one post-graduate exam.
5) Begin writing 'Burying The King' (at least 50% of 1st draft to be finished).
6) Palace to get promoted back to the Premiership +/- win the FA Cup.

I have the same problem - I think it must be quite common.
I liked Peter Jackson's quote - someone asked him what he was going to do next after having finished King Kong - he said "Introduce myself to the kids".

Hmmmm, must tread carefully knowing full well that this will prolly get dug up in 12 months time.
Hopes:
1. "Crooked Features" is watched and reviewed by more people.
2. I make a good start offering location sound recording service with my own kit.
3. My own sound recording kit works properly.
4. I get paid as a sound recordist and bother to join BECTU.
5. Get my next Feature project written.

Fears:
1. Forced to live as a reclusive billionare from "Crooked Features" success.
2. Generic Skinhead hits 999 posts and never returns.
3. Someone steals my sound kit.
4. Microsoft starts offering certificates for audio engineers.
5. The singularity engulfs reality before I finish my story about it.
damm you miker !
Following on from last year, now this year and a bigger list.
1. Nope
2. Nope
3. tricky maybe ....
4. no change there.
5. scarfily enough everyone does get paid on time
6. tick the box
7. muhahahaha
8. why did i put that.
9. cough
10. I did indeed.
Well, I've pretty much given up the sound recording sideline.
Right now there's a push for "The Fix:" whilst I self indulge as an artist once more, rediscovering the Cinema Direct of my youth (before I even knew it was a genre).
1992 - Spain's World (Fullscreen) - YouTube
and from this year-
Robo Mow - YouTube
Realising I was a Hollywood Star Sucker and totally getting over myself, has been entirely liberating. Plus I am now 40 (which I don't even believe myself).
