The answer

It's buried and I don't know when it could be found. It was never on
DVD so the masters for that can't be in very good shape.

Plus we do not want to sell any unedited footage any more. We sell
movies that are a reflection of our view. Unedited footage has no magic
to it.

These are just my two cents, but after having just recently viewed Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, I've read up on fetish history, and people like Guyette and Klaw did it for passion too, not just money, heck we can still see some of Klaw's work because his sister kept the better ones he hasn't burned after his life was professionally and privately ruined. If he could lived longer, he'd have seen that fetish can find a broad appeal, but this of course, as usual, also attracts people only in it for the service.

If this were a story I'm writing, there'd be an internal shakeup within the company with people taking over who have little interest in caring for customers in a niche market, emphasis on the niche here, so they'd have no incentive to look up a different copy that was neglected for a potential reward when they can sell standard stuff. In that case, the protagonist of the story would take the synopsis of the original video and rally a campaign to custom order a new one to own, thereby circumventing the problem. A product no longer in shape to be sold cannot be successfully claimed as infringement, then again I'm simply basing this on previous rulings, I'm not a lawyer, much less a copyright arbiter.

May be it is time to retry to request for the release of this lost treasure ?
maybe it will be someone else at the head of the company, someone who care about the old fans's requests .
I don't have any answer to my 2 or 3 mails since 2014, I may be blacklisted ... so if someone want to try to contact them again.
