I'd then pose the crucial question if the same rule still applies that it has to be an unpublished story. I've started to venture out into writing fights that after a point turn sensual as a new battlefield, meaning multiple fights lead up to it. Can't help my upbringing which as a society/region was and is quite socially conservative. We shan't underestimate the importance of the Stonewall Riots that laid the foundation of people seeing the LGBTQ community as more than the sum of them being reduced to a sexual orientation and thus they have more and accurate information for younger generations to navigate. What I know personally is a culture that accepts/tolerates gays as humans but gawd forbid you shake hands you'll catch the gay. As such, I'm far more comfortable writing about the inner battle that could easily lead to self-hate than about the discovery just how gender fluid they are discovered through fighting. Therefore, my submission will still remain a catfight story.
