Who here is Canadian? And, if you are, where in Canada are you?

Well I and all my girls are from here in Ottawa. Not just the political capital, but the CATFIGHT capital of the country. Nowhere is there a bigger concentration of women who practice real catfighting than here in Bytown.

I am also Canadian. I live on the East Coast, though I am from Western Canada. I lived in Toronto for about a decade and still enjoy visiting it, but my favorite (or favourite!) Canadian city is Vancouver, where I lived for several years.

Hey JB57!

I've been to Vancouver a few times but only on vacations, when i lived in San Francisco. Indeed, as I recall, Vancouver prided itself on being San Francisco's "sister city." What a beautiful town!

Yes, that's true, though I think that Vancouver is far more beautiful than SF (not to be overly critical of SF!) I don't think that the mountains/ocean/rainforest combination that you get in Vancouver can really be beaten. Also, the abject poverty, side by side with extreme wealth, that is so prevalent in downtown SF is more contained in Vancouver (though there is certainly poverty in East Vancouver).

That being said, I really liked SF. I think it is one of my favorite US cities, after San Diego and Portland, Oregon. I haven't been back to Vancouver in a few years, but I plan to be there again later this fall. I may stop over in SF while I am in the area.
