I heard Cowboy Troy sing "My Last Yee Haw"... on The Today Show this morning and at first I thought he was singing "My last Jihad".

Then I got to thinking, Jihad and Yee Haw, they kind of sort of have a similar meaning.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The literal meaning of "Jihad" is not holy war.It means struggle.Usually to a devout Muslim, this is the inner struggle in every man, to conquer his own demons.

The use of the word to mean holy war is very complex and involves Islamic law, which is interpreted differently in different Islamic republics.Add the media influence and you have your "Yeehaw!" similarities.
