    Welcome to AP Literature at ASA!! To get us started this first week on the message board I would like you to complete the survey found below. Answer honestly and completely. Keep in mind your audience - this will be seen by both me and your peers.

    7. I am teaching this AP class because I previously taught AP when I was in Roma, so in a sense it's a return to my roots. Moreover, I feel so passionate about literature and writing that working with people at your level (seniors/AP) is where I feel most comfortable. I really enjoy working in an AP class.

    8. After reading for English 9, English 10, and AP, I try to get in a chapter or two from another book not associated with the classroom.

    9. I am a big fiction fan, especially contemporary American (North) literature. This was my emphasis at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and still is a love of mine.

    13. I am taking no other AP courses, but I am teaching English 9 and 10, chairing the English department here at ASA, taking over as advisor for NHS, and much much more.

    14. Before I was hobbled via knee surgery, I played basketball and futbol every week on campus.
