Did this stove escape the ravages of Katrina? If the rock wool got soaked, it would be a mess.
Definitely post these these photos on our new site. Almost no one comes over here anymore, except to find old archive info. This site is supposedly scheduled to be shut down soon.

We have one of 6 houses in our neighborhood which did not flood. The water was 4 inches below our floorboards. Since then, one neighbor died in a repair accident at his church, three have had to move b/c of job loss, but otherwise, we're o.k. As is the stove, and the sink. Stinkytown is smelling better every day. Thanks for the info re the new site. I'll check it out.
