you know I really like your idea DC.

My first thought when I posted that question would be Australia or to Scotland and see where my ancestors came from, but really what greater beauty then the county we live in?

There is so much here to see that I truly know nothing about! I saw you will be going to the Grand Canyon soon... I do hope you'll be sharing your experience through your photos.

I've always wanted to watch the leaves change colors in Maine.

well i would do a photographic adventure of the U.S. I would get a nice posh RV and take off....and just make my way thru each state..taking in all of it's unique beauty.

It wouldn't be until I completely covered my own land....that I would travel on out of here.

Id explore my own backyard so to speak. Australia has so much to see. Ive always wanted to drive across the Top End from Townsville in the east to Broome in the west and watch the sun sink slowly over the Atlantic Ocean. The Id go see our famouse red heart Uluru (Ayre's Rock)

Oh and then to the Great Australian Bight and see The Twelve Apostles. and hope to see the southern Right whales basking in the many sheltered bays along the Great Ocean Road.

So many things to see in Oz first before I explore the rest of the world..but eventually I would like to see friends in the US and Canada.

I just got a postcard from King Island. I'd like to go there, its pretty. Though you are both right, I'd love to travel Canada. Its incredible here. Though there is one thing , if money was no object that I would do. I would take my sis, and we would go to a tropical island, sip pina colada's on the beach. Being served by buff men.
