that a child can hear an ice cream truck 5 blocks away, while they are yelling and playing... but cannot hear the dog whining 2 feet from them to be let out as they are sitting there quietly watching a lil tv? hmmm why?
I ponder this since I had to get out of bed at 6 to let the dog out.

Yeah..Its passed on from the fathers genes I believe...lol
My husband never hears our dogs barking during the night..nor the tap dripping..and Im always the one to get up out of bed to make things right again..
But I did have my revenge last night..Lucy my youngest dog was barking around about midnight..most likely at a low flying bat or something..anyway..I told him to get up and tell her to shut up and go to bed but he left it til she stopped barking on her own but she started up again a lil while later and he HAD to get up because I was getting the shits by then...At midnight when I've only just got to bed and I have to get up at 2.15 for work the next morning..He can go disipline the dogs..
