    That would be AMAZING for Altec Lansing to be owned and operated by THE man who really could do justice to the name! If not, as long as GPA is around, I would still consider that to be the REAL Altec anyways--with or without the name.....

    They sure don't know what they've bought, and, in all liklihood, don't have a clue what to do with it.

    So much of all that's happened to the name since the EV buyout makes what Jimmy Ling did look like a Cub Scout Picnic!

    So I took a road trip up to Grey Towers in Milford PA yesterday. On my way back I traveled 209 and came upon this site:

    It was a huge complex.

    I must admit, it made the rest of the trip a bit melancholy.

    I don't think they are there anymore..Operations moved to San Diego IIRC.

    Hmmmm, I swear I saw the A7 at the Altec Lansing at the CES Las Vegas a few years ago, along with some 604 drivers on static display. I may be able to locate some old pictures of me standing next to the new A7. No display like that thois year however,....
