The 75, 76, & 77 all looked the same, except subtle changes, that aren't close enough to discern in tomt's video. The 78 OG pictured had the fastback window. The 74 looked like the 75 thru 77, but had a two piece rear with a split down the middle.
Yeah think you are right at 75-77. I just like the looks of the 78 better

I totally missed the window. I knew the early C3 had the chrome bumpers, but I wasn't sure if changes were made late in the C3 run and had to Google for that. I was only noticing the rear seemed to change a bit, with a spoiler molded in.
Why are we trying to identify the year Tomt?

i see this car and it's driver, more and more often.
i figure one of these days, i'll come face to face w/
the owner, and will have to have something interesting to say.
something that he would be interested in, that is.
always a good thing to be prepared.
strange tho, that there is not much about this guy,
and his car, considering who he is.

That one does have the fastback rear window, so 78-79.

78-79 were not exactly great years for American production cars. Pretty sad time as I recall. For me the party pretty much ended in 1970. However, things are looking much much better these days. Vette, Camaro, Mustang etc, are back in the fray - good to see.
Late 70's and early 80's not so hot. Agreed.
