Heck yeah. From the look of it, the 921 is a beast. The 815s look like they're in pretty good shape.
Next door, I'm in Ohio. I think the 921 replaced the 421? If so, then this would be a later MI set? I think there is $600 there. No room at the inn for me though.

816s......
Also, he's asking two prices. $600 in the title, and $800 in the description. Maybe they've been forsale for awhile, and he didn't edit carefully?

Changing standards and regulations regarding measurement, i think, played a huge role in what makes many vintage specs(especially frequency response) seem a bit exaggerated to us today.
Not all vegetables make good leaders.
Bear in mind a 15 beams as frequency goes up. All speakers do, but the larger the speaker and higher the frequency, the worse it gets. The HF energy from the sides is added to the center. it might well be 10 db down at center of the polar plot, but since the extra HF essentially is removed from the sides, will drop like a rock as you move from the "sweet spot'. Might be 10 db down at center and 24 dB down as you move right or left. The response on axis is exaggerated at the cost of off axis.

That's a lot of speaker for $600--someone's going to get a great deal! I would think they're worth close to twice that if in good working order....
