model 19 crossover printed circuit board

I'm redoing my crossovers in a clone model 19. A printed circuit board would really make a neater job of it. So far I have not found any. Anyone know of such a thing?
    thanks
    Les

It would be nice to see the GPA site updated a bit to include the dozens of items Bill offers but very few people know about.

Even a "sticky" thread here with some basic data and photos would be a helpful resource, and if AB meta tags them they will be easily found with a google or bing search.

I checked with Bill at GPA. He does not sell the circuit boards. Too bad. It would be a great product.

The other option would be etching your own boards. It's not an easy or cost effective approach unless you are already familiar with the process, and possess the chemicals and supplies, IMO.

Honestly, i think point to point wiring in a cabinet mounted network is more durable, and more flexible to modification.

The main advantage to a PCB mounted network is production cost savings, IMO.

Another version of the M19 crossover was developed and documented over at LH.
It culminated in a PCB prototype that you can see in this post.
Unfortunately, it looks as though they were never produced in quantity.

For what it's worth, a crossover is always best when it is custom built for the system in which it will operate. You said "clone model 19" so I assume there are some things that are non-standard or not factory, in which case you'll want to carefully measure all your drivers in the system and then sim the circuit for the response you want.

I agree with bowtie - a PCB is likely way more trouble than it's worth and could even be a detriment depending on the application.

I agree with this Les.. The PCB board makes sense if your doing a lot of them.A direct wire to wire approach will produce a far superior XO IMHO for durability and longevity.

How about just buying the whole thing from Bill? Unless part of your goal is to build it yourself, and pick components?

Thanks for the suggestion. I need to build a 16 ohm version.
