    Here's an interesting one:
    Two Altec Lansing 802 8g High Freqency Drivers 23744 Diaphargms | eBay

    Listed as an 8G, but part number on the endcap is 8B. The phram the seller indicates is stock for an 8B.
    But those sure enough look like 8G bodies. Go figure. I can't make out the date code on it.

    23746 is the driver about which we like to conjecture and speculate. It is an 806 size motor and driver body. That cover marked 23746 is most likely not original to the driver body you see it on now.

    They are the 8G/8B body, just without a foil cal, and could have been installed anywhere.
    Smells like a cobbled together mix of parts.
    Still very nice.

    FWIW, part number for 808-8B is 34075.
