    how well would a pair of 515 8LFEs do in a MLTL or tapped setup? maybe hypothetical at this point,,,, but.
    that is the questian. i was going through the specs and they're rated 20 -1000 hz. thats damn low

    here's one of a pair on ebay. but the cones don't look right.

    They need to be re-coned to be made right.

    Lack of a vent has got to affect their long term power handling.

    yeah, i'm not in the mood to recone another pair just yet. that would put them in the 650$ range.
    i already have a 130$ pair of 3154s that are now "worth" 500$

    That needs to be arrived at empirically, which disqualifies me from answering with any specifics.

    How low will likely depend on how loud, and the specific TH it's loaded in.

    I suspect excursion limits will be the threshold you need to be concerned with.

    I'd like to see this modeled for a generic TH, so that we might at least get a prediction as well as learn more about what the parameters of an ideal driver for a high output TH with low extension might be.
