OT: Happy Holidays and mscellaneous reflections

I'm sure I'll be back on before the holidays are over, but being a bit forgetful, thought I'd better get my good wishes in for everybody.

In case anybody didn't notice, I came out (of retirement, not the closet) in the last year. Working for a Computer Tech company as I have hardware skills, and found a niche that has short hours and pays well.

So I don't make it back as often, posts are farther between. Often just too tired after work to chase around the net.

Mostly the job pays for a few toys, and weekend getaways with Julie. She deserves every one and more. Flying her to Ft Myers Beach for her birthday and New Years Eve.

I want to apologize if I sometimes offend, I'd rather be direct and blunt, not diplomatic. I mean, nobody is gonna die as a result of our discussions, or any air raids launched, unless you count getting even with a neighbor by cranking up your speakers....

But still, if I have left hurt feelings, it wasn't intentional...I just don't mince words, and that can be taken as hurtful...

Even someone who I totally disagree with, please feel free to PM with questions. I don't hold any hard feelings ever, unless someone tries to go personal. I hope that's unanimous here.

Hopefully after the New Year I can be back more.

So let me close with a hearty wish for a good end to this year, and a better next one to all here!
