Altec proper personality module

I was wondering if anyone new what this device does or heard one, and if it was only designed to work with Altec 9820's. Kind of a strange name for an electronic product. Thanks!

reSorry no link AB, read a bit from an esteemed AH member who had heard these with the Acoustimate processor and had said they where some of the best Altecs he had heard. I heard some 9815's with a Dolby Lake preocessor and they sound very nice, rolled off, but nice. It was a heavily treated room, after eq in lots of areas they kept up with some very nice jbl's...
